As a medical student, Harley naturally knows this best.
"I remember Mr. Su Hui mentioning the establishment of an indoor planting area before. Do you have any plans for that now?"
Tina looked at Su Hui and asked.
Mary also focused her attention on Su Hui.
"Yes."
"But the key is that we don't have any seeds. We must find seeds before the heavy snow completely closes the roads!"
Su Hui nodded, his voice steady and strong: "Only with seeds of various vegetables, fruits and even grains can we establish indoor growing areas to ensure that we have a continuous supply of fresh food, instead of the possibility of sitting idle and running out of resources."
The plan to ensure a long-term food supply was immediately approved by the three women.
They have experienced the cruelty of the apocalypse firsthand, and the importance of food is self-evident.
But the question is, where do the seeds come from?
Su Hui knew that Los Angeles had a dedicated seed bank, but with the city in freezing weather and frost, searching for it without knowing its exact address would be tantamount to suicide.
Upon hearing this, they all fell into deep thought.
Just as Su Hui was pondering the possible source of the seeds, Mary, who had been listening quietly, suddenly spoke up.
"Brother Su Hui, I know where we might find the seeds!"
Mary's eyes lit up, as if she had thought of something.
As a young lady who grew up in Beverly Hills, she was far more familiar with her surroundings than Su Hui and Harley.
"Not too far from here, there are two large shopping malls, Beverly Hills Mall and Grove Mall."
"Right next to Grove Shopping Center is the original farmers market, one of the largest in Los Angeles."
Mary recalled.
"Before the apocalypse, there were always various fresh fruits and vegetables for sale there, as well as many gardening supply stores. Maybe we could find the seeds we need, or even some small greenhouse equipment."
Upon hearing this, Su Hui's face lit up with delight.
"Well done!"
He couldn't resist reaching out and ruffling Mary's hair!
You might actually find what you're looking for at the farmers' market.
"shopping center?!"
Upon hearing Mary's words, Harley also showed a look of surprise, her eyes instantly lighting up.
She immediately moved closer to Su Hui, almost hanging half her body on him, rubbing her ample breasts against his arm.
"Honey~ Are we going to Grove Shopping Center? Can we do some shopping there while we're there..."
Her voice was sickeningly sweet, with a hint of coquetry.
Harley bit her lower lip slightly, her voice low and full of seduction, her warm breath brushing against Su Hui's ear.
"Honey, I haven't had any new clothes in ages... Don't you want to see me in even more beautiful 'battle armor' so I can fight for you even better?"
She deliberately dragged out the last syllable, puffed out her chest, and made a suggestive gesture.
Even after the apocalypse, while there is no shortage of clothing, the prospect of going on a shopping spree is undoubtedly extremely attractive to women.
Su Hui looked down at Harley, who was looking at him expectantly, and then glanced at Tina and Mary, who were also looking longingly at him.
Although Tina didn't speak, a subtle glint flickered in her gentle eyes.
Mary's little face was full of anticipation, as if going to the shopping mall was something to be happy about.
It seems that even in the apocalypse, women still have an irresistible passion for shopping.
Considering the importance of the seeds and to fulfill the rare expectations of the three women, Su Hui made a decision.
“Okay, let’s go check out Grove Shopping Center and that farmers market.”
"Yay! Honey is the best!"
Harley cheered, jumped up and hung on Su Hui, kissing him on the cheek.
Tina and Mary also smiled happily.
With the destination decided, the next step is preparation.
The snow outside was too thick, making it difficult for ordinary off-road vehicles to move.
Su Hui used the [Synthesis] ability again.
He drove the Hummer H2 into the garage and, using the materials he had collected and some dismantled tracked vehicle parts, further reinforced and modified the steel behemoth.
The original large off-road tires were removed and replaced with tracked snow modules that gleamed with a metallic sheen, greatly enhancing the vehicle's ability to traverse snowy terrain.
He also upgraded the vehicle's air conditioning system to ensure that the interior remains warm enough in extremely cold weather.
A more powerful searchlight assembly was installed on the roof, its light as bright as day that could pierce through the wind and snow and illuminate the road ahead.
After the modifications, the already imposing Hummer H2 became even more ferocious, resembling a light armored vehicle poised for action.
Everyone began preparing their luggage.
Thick thermal underwear, windproof and waterproof jacket and pants, professional snow boots, gloves, hat... all the warm gear was on.
Weapons and ammunition were of paramount importance; rifles, pistols, bullets, and grenades were all carefully inspected to ensure they were in perfect condition.
Su Hui still carried his "Steel-Cutting" longsword, with a special ammunition launcher at his waist. Harley excitedly polished her "Goodnight" baseball bat and "Sweet" revolver, while Tina and Mary also brought their weapons.
everything's ready.
The next morning, the sky remained overcast, and the wind and snow showed no signs of abating.
Su Hui started the Hummer H2, and the engine emitted a deep roar.
The tracks rolled over the thick snow, leaving two deep ruts, and steadily drove out of the villa courtyard.
Harley sat excitedly in the passenger seat, fiddling with her "sweet" revolver.
Tina and Mary sat in the back row, watching the snowy scenery rushing past the window, their eyes filled with both nervousness about the unknown and a secret anticipation for their "shopping trip".
The beams of searchlight pierced through the wind and snow, illuminating the snow-covered road ahead, heading towards the Grove Shopping Center.
The Hummer, like a steel beast, carved a path through the deep snow and disappeared into the end of the snow-covered, silvery-white world.

The deep roar of the engine tore through the silence.
Like a steel behemoth awakening, its tracks crushed the thick snow in front of the villa and rampaged into the snow-covered streets of Beverly Hills.
The snow was over a meter deep, soft and deadly.
The newly synthesized Hummer H2 tracks whipped up huge waves of snow, scattering them to both sides and carving a dark path through the pure white world.
Los Angeles was shrouded in a blizzard, presenting an eerie tranquility, yet harboring a chilling atmosphere.
Along the once-luxurious streets, abandoned luxury cars lie half-buried under snowdrifts, only their twisted roofs or broken windows visible, resembling white tombs. (The last two lines appear to be unrelated and possibly machine-generated text.)
The collapsed walls and broken palm trees were covered by thick white snow, obscuring their original outlines and leaving only a cold and desolate stillness.
The powerful searchlights on the roof of the Hummer shone blinding beams of light, piercing through the swirling snowflakes and illuminating the completely covered road ahead.
The whole world was reduced to black and white, monotonous and oppressive.
The interior of the car was warm and cozy, a stark contrast to the icy hell outside.
Harley sat in the passenger seat, listlessly turning her "Sweet" revolver, humming an off-key tune.
Tina and Mary sat in the back row, looking out at the rapidly receding snowscape through the bulletproof glass.
Tina looked slightly grave, uneasy about the extreme weather changes.
Mary's face showed a mixture of nervousness and curiosity; this was her first time going out in such an environment.
Su Hui drove the vehicle with focused concentration, the tracks making a dull creak as they crushed the snow, a sound that was particularly clear on the quiet street.
His mental energy had already spread out, sensing any unusual fluctuations in the wind and snow.
Suddenly, several dark figures moved about in the snow ahead.
They are several mutants.
They were covered with a thin layer of ice, and their movements were noticeably slower and stiffer than usual, as if the extremely low temperature was also affecting them.
But their empty eye sockets remained fixed on the moving Hummer, and they let out low growls. Their instinctive desire to attack had not subsided, and they staggered toward the Hummer.
"Ha! Popsicle, want a ride?"
Harley pouted, rolled down the car window, and leaned half her body out. The cold wind instantly rushed into the car, whipping her hair.
boom! boom! boom!
The "Sweet" revolver spewed fire.
The heads of the three mutants charging at the front exploded, their dark red blood staining the white snow before being quickly covered by new snowfall.
The remaining few seemed startled by the gunshots and hesitated for a moment, but were quickly drawn in by the roar of the vehicle's engine and continued to sway as they approached.
Su Hui didn't even slow down, just slightly turned the steering wheel.
The massive tracks rolled directly over it, producing a sickeningly loud cracking sound as bones shattered.
The car lurched slightly, then quickly regained its stability.
Harley, still wanting more, retreated back into the car, closed the windows, and shut out the cold outside.
"He's really not that tough."
She pursed her lips and wiped her beloved revolver.
Su Hui didn't speak, but simply controlled the Hummer, its tracks crushing over the frozen corpses with a sickening cracking sound.
The vehicle continued its arduous journey through the deep snow.
The closer you get to the city center, the more obstacles you'll encounter on the road.
Abandoned vehicles, collapsed billboards, and building ruins were all covered by heavy snow, creating countless hidden traps.
Su Hui had to slow down and carefully choose his route.
The beams of the searchlights swayed in the wind and snow, and visibility was extremely low.
Time passed slowly amidst the oppressive atmosphere.
at last,
After nearly an hour's drive, the iconic silhouette of Grove Shopping Center began to appear faintly in the snow-covered distance.
The once bustling open-air shopping district is now completely covered by heavy snow, and the iconic tram tracks have disappeared under the thick layer of snow.
The main structure of the building appears to be in relatively good condition, but many of the glass curtain walls are broken, revealing a dark interior.
Su Hui drove around the perimeter of the shopping center and chose an entrance through the staff entrance on the side.
The snow here is relatively shallow. Snow mixed with broken glass and some frozen, blackened corpses is piled up at the entrance, and the corpses of several low-level monsters, also frozen stiff, are scattered around.
Su Hui did not slow down, and directly steered the Hummer H2 to crash into it without any hesitation.
"Clang!" There was a loud noise.
The fragile roller shutter door was slammed open, twisted and deformed.
Su Hui parked the car in a relatively spacious area inside the entrance and turned off the engine.
The temperature difference between the inside and outside of the car caused a thin layer of fog to form on the windows.
"Alright, get out of the car. Our destination is the farmers' market; we'll prioritize finding seeds."
Su Hui unbuckled his seatbelt and was the first to push open the car door.
A blast of cold air rushed into the car, making Harley and the others shiver.
The four men, dressed in full protective gear, picked up their weapons and disembarked from the vehicle one by one.
The interior of the shopping mall was dimly lit, with only a few rays of natural light filtering through the damaged dome, mixed with the faint glow of emergency lights.
The air was filled with dust, decay, and a faint smell of blood.
The ground crunched underfoot as it stepped on broken glass, scattered goods, and a thin layer of snow.
