Chapter 323 Dumbledore's Grand Plan
Right—if the goal was to find Mr. PH, why did they end up at my house?
Loila bit her lip, not knowing why.
Seeing Loila's distress, Lupin coughed lightly and said, "I actually have an idea."
"Um?"
"Is there a possibility—that is—" Lupin carefully chose his words, looking at Loila's somewhat bewildered expression, "Mr. PH is referring to your father?"
"I remember your father's name was—" Lupin paused, "Philip Hamilton, right?"
"The initials of the name also seem to be PH."
"Pfft."
"Huh?" Lupin paused for a moment, then he saw the smile on Loila's face. The silver-haired girl covered her mouth and suddenly smiled.
Was my idea too stupid?
Seemingly realizing Lupin's thoughts, Loila quickly waved her hand and said, "I'm so sorry!"
I feel—
"It feels really interesting."
"The PH we've been searching for—Mr. PH—is actually Dad—" Loila said, unable to suppress the smile on her face, "It feels like we're—like we're a bit silly."
"————" Lupin smiled helplessly upon hearing this, "It seems so————"
Then, as if remembering something, he said, "So—you actually already know how to create a magic circle?"
"————" Loila's smile suddenly disappeared.
What magic circle? I have no idea how to create one! If Dad is Mr. PH, then why don't I know how to create a magic circle?
He clearly wrote in his diary that he wanted to pass it on to his daughter or something—how come I had no idea about that at all?
Seeing the silent Loila, Lupin also stopped smiling. He reached out and patted Loila's shoulder with a slightly heavy expression.
"
'
Don't make such a bitter and resentful gesture—and don't suddenly offer such comfort!
But indeed—no matter how hard Loila tried to recall, she couldn't remember ever seeing her father mention anything about creating magic circles—could it be that her father actually—didn't know how at all—?
Although I feel that the father I remember isn't like that—but when I think of the things in the diary—
Hmm...it feels like something collapsed...
Loila was silent for a few seconds, then decided not to think about it for the time being—after all, they had many other things to deal with than Mr. PH.
Keep in mind that there are still more than a dozen Hamilton family wizards lying in the corridor.
"Clap-clap." Just as the two were thinking, a series of footsteps suddenly came.
Upon hearing the footsteps, Loila instinctively shuddered; she knew, of course, who the voice belonged to—
—It is Albus Dumbledore.
How did this old guy get here so fast!
"Good afternoon, Miss Hamilton, and Remus," Dumbledore said, poking his head in slightly. "It's good to see you're all safe and sound."
"Hmm—" Loila pursed her lips and gave an awkward smile: "Ah—haha—"
She shifted slightly to shield Peterson, who had fallen unconscious due to her Crucifixion.
"Headmaster Dumbledore," Lupin nodded respectfully.
"Remus—I imagine you must be very tired?" Dumbledore said slowly. "Go and rest—and while you're at it, go and talk to Professor Rozier and Miss Nagini."

"To prevent them from fighting."
Dumbledore's words caused Loila and Lupin to exchange a glance.
"Just kidding," Dumbledore chuckled. "But I do have something to discuss privately with Miss Hamilton."
"I understand, Headmaster Dumbledore." Lupin nodded slightly, looking at Loila. "I'll go rest now, Loila—"
No—don't walk so fast!
Before Loila could grab Lupin's sleeve, he had already walked out of the room.
Leaving me alone to face Dumbledore would be too cruel—and if I leave, please take Peterson with me—what if Dumbledore smells the Crucifixion on him or something?
Loila lowered her head awkwardly, clutching the corner of her robe like a child who had made a mistake.
"Miss Hamilton—"
"I—I'm here!" Royla quickly raised her head, looking at Dumbledore with a slightly fawning gaze.
"Was it pleasant enough?" Dumbledore said, tilting his head slightly as he looked at Peterson lying on the ground behind Loyla.
"Not bad!" Royla instinctively stood on tiptoe to try and block Dumbledore, but it was still a bit difficult for her due to her height.
"Tsk tsk tsk—I never expected Peterson to be such a vicious person." Dumbledore clicked his tongue, looking surprised. "I thought he would be a competent professor of Muggle Studies for many years."
"Hmm?" Loila sensed something was amiss.
How did Dumbledore know about Peterson? I didn't tell him!
You didn't know something all along, did you? And then pretended not to know—you—despicable—shameless!
"Ah—by the way, Miss Hamilton." Dumbledore nodded slightly as if he had just remembered something. "There's something I need to tell you."
"I went to the Ministry of Magic this morning."
"Hmm?" Don't suddenly change the subject! Loila looked at Dumbledore with displeasure.
"I met Mr. Parkinson at the Ministry of Magic—" Dumbledore shrugged. "Mr. Parkinson talked to me about the patent for magic circles."
"A patented magic array?!" Loila paused, then looked at Dumbledore with some surprise—why this sudden jump in logic?
"He mentioned to me that there were many illogical aspects to Mr. Peterson Hamilton's application for the magic circle patent." Dumbledore shrugged. "And I happen to have some evidence of that as well."
"So," Dumbledore nodded gently, "you don't need to worry about the magic circle patent."
"These patents have now returned to their owners."
"Huh?!"
You suddenly said a lot! And why is there something in every single sentence that I have to complain about?
Putting aside the illogical aspects, why do you have any evidence in your possession? — And as for your concerns, I'm not really worried — after all, I was planning to just ignore it — and what's this about returning it to its owner?
Loila was at a loss for words. Should I thank you?
"Ah—thank you—thank you." Loila pursed her lips and gave a somewhat insincere thank you.
Dumbledore nodded gently: "It's alright, Miss Hamilton, after all, you've been so dedicated over the past year."
"..——"
Loila wanted to say something, but in the end she just pursed her lips and didn't speak.
"Ah—right," Dumbledore shrugged as if remembering something, "There's one more thing—"
"I also spoke with Secretary Fudge about the Hamilton family."
"We took a closer look—and made a very unexpected discovery."
"You should actually be the first in line to the Hamilton family."
"So we discussed it and decided that you will be the head of the Hamilton family." Dumbledore said, reaching out to pat the stunned Loira.
"I'm so glad you've found your home."
No—don't you need to ask the current head of the Hamilton family how he feels before doing these things? And—and how I feel too?!
