Struggling to survive at Hogwarts

Chapter 103 Pensieve

Chapter 103 Pensieve

Immediately, a "basilisk monster" appeared in front of the two.

If there were any bystanders here, they would surely notice the strangeness of this snake.

Unfortunately, Harry was trying to avoid the basilisk's gaze and dared not look directly at it, while Thea was carefully observing and secretly using Transfiguration to modify the strange parts of the "basilisk".

"Oh!"

"Clang!"

"Shh!"

As Harry dodged left and right, the basilisk gradually drove him onto a giant statue.

Harry had nowhere to run. Just as the basilisk was about to bite him, Harry thrust forward with all his might!

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

As the basilisk fell to the ground, the entire secret chamber began to tremble.

"Wow..."

Just as Harry was about to fall off the statue, Fawkes reappeared. He grabbed Ginny from the ground and flew to Harry's side. Harry reacted immediately and grabbed one of Fawkes's feet.

They then met Lockhart and Ron on the road.

Just as the group flew out of the secret chamber, the entire chamber collapsed instantly!

"Harry Potter!"

Thea dutifully played the role of a competent villain, letting out a furious roar of resentment after her plan was exposed.

Harry, clinging tightly to Fawkes, cautiously turned around and saw that the opening in the Chamber of Secrets had been completely covered by collapsed stones.

"...Is he dead?"

Harry was a little stunned, and asked Ron in a low voice.

"They must be dead, the secret chamber has collapsed."

Ron turned around and saw the scene of the secret room collapsing.

In a clearing buried under the ruins, Thea pulled the notebook out of her pocket, and a familiar voice rang out: "Boggart? I must say, you've got guts, Miss Black."

Thea raised an eyebrow, readily accepting the other person's assessment, and then closed the notebook again!

--------

Inside the principal's office.

"Mr. Potter, has your brain been assimilated by the trolls? How can you be so arrogant as to think you can go to the Chamber of Secrets alone to deal with the basilisk!"

Snape stared at the disheveled young wizard before him with a gloomy expression, his disgust directed straight at him without any attempt to conceal it.

Under the pressure of the other person's gaze, Harry unconsciously swallowed and mustered his courage to say, "...and Ron too."

"What?" Snape frowned, his expression turning even more grim.

“I said, and Ron too, I’m not alone!” Harry raised his voice, looking at Snape without flinching.

Snape felt his anger rising as those eyes stared intently at him.

“Very good, very good,” Snape repeated, “Potter talked back to the professor, Gryffindor loses 10 points!”

Upon hearing the deduction, Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall, who were seated in the main seats, could no longer remain seated.

"Haha, Severus, don't be so irritable. Would you like a lemon tea?" Dumbledore said, his hands clasped on the table, smiling at Snape.

"Humph!"

Snape snorted dismissively, then turned away, making his refusal clear through his actions.

Seeing that Snape wasn't responding, Dumbledore felt a little helpless and then turned his gaze to Harry, who looked uneasy.

“Relax, you two,” Dumbledore said with a smile, pushing the candy on the table toward them. “Your courage amazes me, and I have no doubt that you deserve the school’s Special Contribution Award!”

Harry and Ron exchanged a surprised glance, their expressions relaxing.

“However, Harry, we need to see your memories of the Chamber of Secrets.”

"Memory?" Harry asked, puzzled.

“Yes,” Dumbledore said, walking around the table and leading the group to a strange vessel carved with bizarre runes.

"Just recall everything that happened in the secret room in your mind, and that will do."

Harry hesitated for a while and didn't move.

"What's wrong? Is there a problem?"

Dumbledore asked with a smile.

"...I'm sorry, Headmaster, I kept my eyes closed most of the time because of the basilisk's eyes..."

Harry couldn't continue; guilt gradually overwhelmed him.

After hearing Harry's explanation, Dumbledore exchanged a knowing glance with the two people beside him, and then said, "The basilisk's eyes are indeed catching people off guard. Closing your eyes is just a human instinct. Harry, you don't need to blame yourself."

Hearing Dumbledore's words of comfort, Harry pointed his wand to his temple, his mind replaying everything that had happened in the Chamber of Secrets.

Then a milky white light slowly drifted out, and Harry, following Dumbledore's advice, placed it into the Pensieve.

As the memories slowly sank to the bottom of the basin, Dumbledore waved his wand, and a huge screen of light appeared before everyone's eyes.

"professor?"

Harry looked nervously at the light screen, but Dumbledore patted him on the shoulder, offering silent comfort.

Act One: Harry and Ron kidnap Lockhart and break into the women's restroom!

A visually stunning opening screen attack!

Harry and Ron were so disgusted with each other that they could practically dig a castle out of the ground with their toes.

"A very clever idea, Harry, Ron, you did a great job!"

Dumbledore offered words of comfort at the opportune moment, while Snape once again let out a disdainful hiss.

"Oh!"

When Ron slammed a stone into Lockhart's head, even Dumbledore found it hard to praise him.

Although the other person is indeed annoying, they don't deserve this much trouble!

"Ha! Openly attacking a professor, Gryffindor loses 10 points!"

Facing the intense gazes of the four Gryffindors in the office, Snape showed no fear whatsoever and charged straight at them!

“I had no idea you and Lockhart were so close.” Professor McGonagall looked at Snape with a complicated expression.

Snape responded with a forced, insincere smile.

The images on the screen continued:

"Snapped!"

As the crisp sound of Harry dropping his wand rang out, the three professors fell silent.

"Dude..."

Harry turned his head and saw Ron suppressing a laugh before slowly giving a thumbs up.

Harry turned around abruptly, deeply regretting his poor choice of friends.

When a strange male wizard appeared on screen, everyone frowned.

"Albus..."

Professor McGonagall asked quietly.

Dumbledore closed his eyes and tried to recall, but he had no recollection of the person, neither in terms of voice nor face.

Dumbledore shook his head at McGonagall, which made the latter frown even more.

"Perhaps it's a wizard from another country that Tom knew before!" Dumbledore guessed to himself.

The following footage flickered, making the five viewers very uncomfortable.

The scene flickered between light and dark, showing Potter running hard one moment and the giant snake's long tail flashing by the next.

What remains unchanged is the particularly irritating, hoarse voice on screen:

"Is this the power of the savior?"

"Your abilities make me question the quality of education at Hogwarts!"

"You don't even dare to take out your wand! Hahahaha!"

"Oh no, you've already given up your wand! Hahaha!"

"A wizard actually gave up his wand!!!"

"The British wizarding world is hopeless! Hahahaha!"
