Chapter 184 Coma
Chapter 184 Coma
As Thea struggled back to the castle, Harry was receiving care from two people in the headmaster's office—his godfather and Dumbledore.
"Cedric?"
Harry instinctively gripped his wand, and then Dumbledore gently lifted Harry's hand.
"rest assured………"
“Dumbledore! Voldemort has come back to life… and…” Harry was eager to say everything he hadn’t said at the maze exit.
But when Harry caught a glimpse of the Godfather out of the corner of his eye, he subconsciously concealed Thea's role in it.
Dumbledore noticed Harry's hesitation and waved for Sirius to leave first.
Sirius repeatedly checked Harry to see if he was injured, until Dumbledore urged him on, at which point he and Cedric reluctantly left the office.
Only when the two of them were left in the room did Harry let his emotions show. "Professor... I don't understand, she betrayed us..."
Harry recounted everything he had seen in the cemetery, and Dumbledore asked a few questions about Voldemort's specific resurrection method.
When Harry recited the incantation for Voldemort's resurrection in full, Dumbledore's blue eyes behind his glasses flickered slightly...
With a soft flapping of wings, Fawkes the phoenix left his perch on the branch and flew over from the other side of the office, landing on Dumbledore's lap.
Harry watched as Dumbledore leaned closer to Fawkes—he seemed to understand the language of the phoenix, which made Harry's brow furrow.
"Professor? What happened?" Harry asked, trying to sound alert.
“Oh, Harry, you might need a nap now; you’re very tired,” Dumbledore said, his tone still gentle.
"Then... what about her?"
Harry hesitated before uttering the question, "...What if she comes back?...Should we kill her?..."
Two voices were screaming inside Harry. One told him to kill Thea while she was still vulnerable, after all, she was Voldemort's daughter!
But another voice calmed Harry down a bit, after all... she had at least prevented Cedric's death, hadn't she?
A glint of malice flashed in Dumbledore's eyes. "Harry, do you really want to kill her?"
Harry couldn't give an answer. By the time he realized what was happening, he was already in the hospital wing, with the Weasleys, Hermione, his godfather, and others standing next to him.
After Dumbledore saw Harry out, he sprinkled some Floo Powder into the fireplace and then stuck his head in.
"Snape, the Slytherin students need a rest."
Snape, who had been sitting by the fireplace, nodded mechanically upon hearing Dumbledore's message.
He knew what Dumbledore meant: he wanted him to relax his surveillance on Draco and the others so that they could go and meet someone—someone who was supposed to be in Voldemort's lair.
Dumbledore's message made the former Death Eater increasingly anxious. He didn't know what agreement Black and Dumbledore had signed that would lead Dumbledore's sugar-coated brain to choose to help the other!
Help the Dark Lord's successor!
That damn old bee, is his brain made of sugar?!
The multitude of conflicting thoughts made Snape's expression grow increasingly hard, to the point that when he announced the end of Draco and the others' confinement, they all looked as if they had misheard.
Fortunately, Draco reacted quickly, and he immediately dragged the group to their private room.
"Quick, quick! Feel the location of Thea!"
Draco, feeling the sensations himself, urged the others to join in as well.
When Draco, Theodore, and Zabini arrived, they saw Thea, whose steps were slightly unsteady.
It wasn't until Thea cast a spell that Draco and the others realized something was wrong with Thea—she could no longer distinguish friend from foe!
"Snapped!"
Zabini slammed the door to the private room shut and cast several warning spells on it before quickly walking to Thea's bedside.
That's right, Daphne and her friends have turned this private room into a classroom-sized room.
The table that was originally used for meetings has been transformed into a luxurious and comfortable bed.
"How are you?"
Daphne lowered her voice and carefully approached Thea's cheek, feeling the abnormal temperature emanating from her face. She almost burst into tears.
"No...not good," Thea said groggily.
That's not good. This is the first time she's said this, so it must be very bad.
“Then… what should we do? There’s an awards ceremony tomorrow…” Daphne said in a trembling voice.
Thea said, "...I will go, otherwise it will be even worse."
Hearing this, Theodore, unable to contain himself any longer, shoved Daphne away.
He knelt beside Thea's bed: "...Are there any obvious wounds?"
Thea was no longer able to speak; she tilted her head slightly toward her left arm.
Theodore immediately realized what was happening. He called Gala over and helped Thea up from behind, then carefully lifted Thea's left arm as if it were a bomb.
When Thea's sleeve was cut open by the scissors, almost everyone couldn't help but gasp in shock. A deep, bone-revealing wound ran across Thea's arm like a flaw on a beautiful jade, and just by looking at it, you could tell how much force the person who did it had used.
The dictamnus powder used to stop the bleeding seemed to have been poured directly onto the wound, but it wasn't properly bandaged...
Theodore first used a soft cloth to wipe away the white powder that had congealed on the skin along with the blood near the wound. The cloth moved around the wound, causing Thea to let out a few cries of pain.
"Be gentle..." Daphne couldn't help but say.
Theodore pursed his lips and did not reply, but his movements became even gentler.
After finally cleaning up the bloodstains, everyone present breathed a sigh of relief.
After Theodore finished bandaging Thea's wound, everyone breathed a sigh of relief, but Theodore still had a furrowed brow.
"Alright, I'm fine now. You all go back and rest. I'll be in the lobby tomorrow morning."
The group was a little worried, but they couldn't persuade Thea otherwise.
"Then what about your soul?"
"what?"
“I mean, I can heal the wound on your arm,” Theodore’s tone hardened, “but the four Cruciatus Curses inside you… there are still three hours until dawn, how are you going to survive?”
The Crucifixion?
The group of people who reached the door were taken aback. "What Heart-Rending Curse?"
“I detected traces of four Crucifixion curses in her body.”
Theodore stated the jaw-dropping truth in a calm tone.
After a moment of silence, Thea laughed and said, "Your skill level has improved quite a bit!"
"But I can't even relieve the pain of the Crucifixion Curse for you."
Thea's face stiffened. Why couldn't she get over this joke?
Seeing that Thea didn't want to say more, Daphne immediately stepped forward and pulled away the "aggressive" Theodore.
"Well... Thea, we'll be going now..."
"OK, good night."
Thea's tone remained gentle, showing no sign of the inhuman torture the other person had endured just minutes before...
