Struggling to survive at Hogwarts

Chapter 336 Celebrating Victory

Chapter 336 Celebrating Victory

"It's that simple???"

Gella, sitting on the sofa, was so surprised she almost jumped three feet high.

"Yeah, what else did you think?"

"This shouldn't be happening!!!"

Compared to Thea's composure, Gella was as astonished as if she had witnessed a volcanic eruption.

"Would he be so easily fooled?"

Gella was completely skeptical, and even became so excited that she gestured wildly.

"You have no idea, didn't I go down there that day to tally the casualties?"

"We ran right into Theodore!"

Gella slammed her fist on the sofa in excitement.

"His face is so dark! It looks like he's lost his parents!"

"Gella!"

Seeing that Gella was going too far, Thea stopped her repeatedly. Gella realized that she had said the wrong thing and gave Thea an embarrassed smile.

But the seriousness lasted only three seconds before Gella confirmed it again.

"You really calmed Theodore down with just a hug?!"

"—He's a smart man."

In the very end, Thea only gave this one sentence.

Gella seemed lost in thought, but Thea took the opportunity to leave this troublesome place as soon as possible. Heaven knows how difficult it is to deal with Gella when she starts nagging!

"Gella, have the casualty statistics been released yet?"

Half a minute later, Thea poked her head out of the study and asked.

Gella immediately returned to work mode, her brain racing. "The statistics are out, here's the table."

Looking at the "Peter Perum" column in the glaring death statistics on the table, a strange light flashed in Thea's eyes.

She pointed to the name. "How did he die? Are you sure it's him?"

Gella looked in the direction Thea was pointing, then lowered her eyes and said, "She was caught in the blast when the first round of explosive spells hit, and she bled too much afterward to be saved."

Thea understood, then beckoned Gella to come closer and whispered, "Have Lucius bring his body over. I want to see his body turn to ashes with my own eyes."

Gella's eyes widened suddenly, but Thea nodded at her.

“He is very important, so I don’t want to tolerate even the slightest surprise.”

Thea's repeated emphasis clearly piqued Gella's curiosity, but she wisely didn't ask any more questions. She simply made a mental note of it and then quietly left the house.

"Blood, bone, flesh, anchor point..."

"Wrong things shouldn't exist..."

The room fell silent again, with only Thea's barely audible mutterings.

“Peter is the beginning, so the next one…”

"Snapped!"

A flash of light, almost invisible to the naked eye, shot from Thea's fingertip and then slammed into the wall.

If anyone could see the spot on the wall where the bullet hit, they would also see the name that was missing half – Barty Crouch Jr.

While Thea was busy dealing with the casualties, Harry was attending a victory celebration.

"The casualties were only one percent!"

"Harry! You're amazing!"

"I've said it before, Dumbledore's choices are never wrong!"

"Hey buddy, didn't you think you were the one with the loudest opposition a few days ago?"

"Hey! Why bring up old grievances on such a happy day! Come on! Let's have a drink!!!"

"Okay! Let's have a drink!"

Outside the hastily erected makeshift gathering place, a group of burly men stood arm in arm, laughing and joking. Their unkempt appearance made it hard to believe that they were the heroes who had risked their lives to raid Riddle's old mansion the day before yesterday.

"Hey Harry! Want a drink? This is Old Tom's masterpiece!"

"No, no, no!" Harry quickly refused. "I just had a few drinks, I really can't drink anymore! You guys drink, drink to your heart's content!"

"All right!"

"I'll go first!"

Harry, who had finally managed to break free from the crowd, breathed a sigh of relief. He didn't remember how many drinks he had refused, nor how many he had been forced to drink. All he knew was that the potion Hermione had given him was so bitter it would surely knock Merlin out on the spot!

"hiss!"

To be honest, the potion was bitter, but its effects were remarkable.

Harry, who could barely stand just moments ago, can now speak with clear eyes!

Ron was marveling at the medical miracle, while Hermione was already telling Harry about her worries.

"They must be furious... Our arrest warrants must be plastered all over the outside by now, and—"

Hermione turned to look at the jubilant crowd. "Harry, you have to consider them... A great victory can certainly boost morale, but history is full of examples of how pride can lead to defeat."

“I know, Hermione.”

Hermione keenly noticed that Harry used the phrase "I know" instead of "I understand," and seeing the depth in his eyes, she realized he wasn't acting without a plan, which put her at ease.

Then a smile appeared on his face.

"Even now, I still can't believe this is a real record."

"They broke into Riddle's old house, not only escaped unscathed, but also caused them so many casualties, and on such a day... their morale must have been severely damaged."

Hermione's words were fine, but Harry still noticed that Hermione was observing his expression out of the corner of her eye.

Harry understood immediately and was about to say something when he was interrupted by the carefree Ron.

"Hey Harry, where did you guys go? You just abandoned me and came here to slack off?!"

"Didn't you come looking for me too?"

Harry was interrupted by Ron, so he simply went along with him and the eerie atmosphere that had just arisen vanished.

"Hmph! Anyway, you're a traitor, sneaking over here and leaving me there to be forced to drink!"

"Oh?" Harry feigned confusion, then his face lit up with righteous indignation, "Want me to avenge you, brother?"

Ron's eyes lit up, and he immediately nodded.

"want!"

The two brothers then charged into the crowd once again.

Ron even gave Hermione a reassuring look, and this wink made Hermione burst out laughing.

"hey-hey!"

Ron chuckled back after receiving a smile from Hermione, and was then dragged by Harry into a huge mixture of people and alcohol.

Moon stars are rare.

Hermione looked up, a sense of peace and tranquility washing over her.
