Angers was about to nod when Lin Chen suddenly spoke up.

"I'll handle things with the executive department; I should be able to get a new batch of equipment."

Fingel was utterly shocked: "What did you say? You can get your hands on it!"

Lu Mingfei also exclaimed, "Are you kidding me? Even the principal can't get one!"

The night watchman also became interested: "Wow, it has to be my brother Lin Chen!"

Angers' gaze froze: "How did you do that?"

Lin Chen smiled and said, "It's not just the principal who's a member of the school board here. I happen to have some connections with the school board as well, so I should be able to get enough equipment before the team sets off!"

The entire room fell silent.

Everyone held their breath, staring at Lin Chen in astonishment.

The fact that Lin Chen has a background as a school board member is truly shocking news.

Only Angers nodded slightly; he had already guessed this.

As early as when Lin Chen participated in the school board vote, he showed that he had a certain background and that he had a certain connection with the mysterious seventh school board member who had never appeared.

It took Fingel a while to react: "Holy crap! Boss Lin Chen, please let me cling to your leg!"

Lu Mingfei was also shocked: "Boss, you have this connection! I need equipment! All kinds of awesome, cool, and powerful equipment!"

"That's for the best!" Angers said. "Lin Chen, thank you for your hard work!"

But Lin Chen simply shook his head slightly: "Can I ask a question?"

“Of course!” Angers said.

"Why don't you go?" Lin Chen looked directly into Angers' eyes. "Although you are the dean of the academy, your reason for living is to avenge the dragons. With such a temptation, do you really want to stay in the academy?"

Angers laughed: "I am an educator with countless students. My students are excellent enough, and you are the new force to slay dragons! I also believe in your abilities. Dragons will surely fall at your feet, and all I need to do is control the overall situation!"

The Night Watchman concluded: "You are the general, and the students are your soldiers! The students charge into battle, and you strategize from behind the scenes!"

“This is destined to be an extraordinary battle,” Angers said softly. “One general’s success is built on the bones of ten thousand.”

……

Itali!

The Gattuso family headquarters.

Frost sat at his desk, looking at the report in front of him with a worried expression.

Opposite him was the obsequious Andrew, who had been being berated for over ten minutes.

Having experienced everything at Kassel College, Andrew now only wants to return to his family to rest.

"Never mind!" Frost sighed softly. "Whether it's Angers or Lin Chen, we'll still need some opportunities to bring them down, but for now, things are already pretty good!"

Andrew breathed a sigh of relief: "Thank you for your understanding, Master!"

"Don't get cocky. I haven't finished dealing with the assassination squad yet. Look at the mess you've made!" Frost continued to berate. "Now it's Angers' turn to declare war on our family. You'd better watch your step!"

"Understood!" Andrew nodded emphatically. "I will treat my guests well!"

“Where’s Percy?” Frost asked. “Bring him to me!”

“Uh…” Andrew grabbed his hair anxiously, “Master, Secretary Percy, he…”

Frost looked up: "Where is he? Haven't we found him yet?"

Andrew nodded nervously: "I haven't been able to contact Secretary Passy since the day the incident happened at Kassel College."

Frost looked tense: "Percy isn't a reckless person, how could he disappear for so long!"

Andrew seemed to realize something: "Master, Secretary Percy, he... he might have already..."

“Shut up!” Frost glared. “Percy is a hundred times better than you. He’d live even if you were hanged!”

Andrew lowered his head, thinking to himself that Percy was a hundred times better than him, but the mission he carried out was also a hundred times better than his own, and far more dangerous than anything he knew!

But Frost's face was somber as he gazed out the window, clearly also pondering Percy's situation.

“Forget it!” Frost shook his head. “I’ll send someone to find Percy. Now tell me about the dragons.”

"That dragon-slaying bounty in the Hunter's Market?"

"That's right! Who issued the mission? Do you have any clues?"

"It's a hunter ID that's already disappeared; the poster probably hacked his account," Andrew said.

With Secretary Percy temporarily missing, Andrew was forced to investigate the matter and temporarily assume the role of secretary.

Frost sighed, "If only it were just a rumor, but unfortunately, it's mostly true!"

Andrew was stunned: "The Dragon King has really awakened?"

"King of the Earth and Mountains!" Frost pulled out a map. "We've detected the earthquake frequency in the North City, and there's been a significant change in that frequency recently. Plus, there are legends of various dragons in the North City. Therefore, we conclude that the King of the Earth and Mountains has awakened!"

Andrew looked shocked; his position didn't give him access to such matters.

He held only a clerical position in the family and had never even encountered a Deadpool.

Now, upon suddenly hearing of the Dragon King's awakening, Andrew was so nervous that his heart felt like it was going to jump out of his body.

Frost continued, "So I'll send Caesar's team; I remember that's what you were in charge of."

Andrew finally calmed down: "That's right, Angers sent Chu Zihang's team and Lin Chen's team, and we sent Caesar, but for now..."

"Temporarily what?"

"The team members haven't been finalized yet."

Frost waved his hand: "Caesar is the only competitive advantage. You can choose any team members you like. Why haven't you decided yet?"

"Well, the young master chose Chen Motong, but Chen Motong refused."

Frost was silent for a moment: "It seems the family's bride isn't ready for her marriage yet."

Andrew hesitated, "Actually, the young master doesn't seem to be very cooperative either. He seems unwilling to accept the family's help!"

Frost said softly, "He's a rebellious child, but he's the one our family has been waiting for for hundreds of years. We absolutely cannot allow him to die young. He's the one who will usher in a new era!"

“A new era?” Andrew’s teeth chattered.

“His name is Caesar, the name of a great king in history!” Frost said. “He thought he was just the heir to his family, but he didn’t know he was the person his family had been waiting for for a thousand years!”

Andrew remained silent; it seemed as if he had only just met Caesar today.

The silence was broken by a phone ringing. Frost opened his phone and smiled when he saw the screen.

“Get out,” Frost said. “Caesar is back!”

Andrew hurriedly packed his things and ran away, and the room was soon pushed open again.

That was Caesar in a casual suit.

He stood before Frost's desk, his hands pressed against it, glaring at Frost like a lion.

"Why!" Caesar gritted his teeth, as if he were about to pounce on him. "Tell me why! Why are you interfering in my affairs! I am the heir of the Gattuso family, do I need my family to interfere even in my love life?"

Frost calmly looked at Caesar: "Since you know your identity, you should agree with the family's decision!"

"What? As an heir, does that mean you can't even decide your own marriage?"

Frost stood up. He knew that the little lion in front of him was quite rebellious, but if he said that, Caesar would flip the table sooner or later.

So Frost asked, "Do you know why the family has gone to such lengths to raise you?"

"If what you mean by 'training' is simply increasing courses and drills, and sending people all over the world on dragon-slaying missions, then I think even an idiot could explain that!"

“No, no, no.” Frost waved his hand. “Child, you may have misunderstood something. Both of you are heirs to the family, but your father, Pompeii, has always been relaxed. He even handed over the management of the family to me. He didn’t receive the full support and training from the family!”

Caesar was taken aback, then suddenly realized something.

Frost was merely his uncle, the acting head of the family.

The true head of the household was Caesar's father, Pompey.

Pompeii was a womanizer; from supermodels to celebrities, from maids to female PhDs, he didn't let any of them slip by.

The Gattuso family viewed him as a stallion; as long as he continued to release himself and produce offspring of high bloodline for the family, that was enough.

Even Caesar didn't know how many half-siblings he had over the years!

Frost continued, "We value you more than Pompeii, because you are the person our family has been waiting for for a thousand years! What we need to do is strengthen your bloodline!"

"What are you going to do?"

“Let me put it this way,” Frost sat down again, “that some people can possess more than two kinds of Word Power.”

"What!" Caesar exclaimed in shock.

"Someone can achieve the power of a pure-blooded dragon with only flesh and blood!"

Caesar remained in shock.

“Do you know about the Half-Blood Monarch?” Frost continued.
