The two women talked as they pushed open the door and entered the coffee shop, the door closing behind them.
The streets remained peaceful and prosperous, with only a few corners where shadows and pedestrians departed from their quiet surroundings.
Soon, information highlighting Swire's request for a batch of supplies and the fact that her followers were suspected to be spatial sorcerers was rapidly transmitted to the leaders of various factions.
Knowing this, Shi Huaiya and Yun Yi returned to their bedroom.
001 and 002 haven't returned yet. The coffee pot on the coffee table in the center of the room is no longer smoking, but the delicate aroma of coffee still lingers around.
"I'd forgotten there was another group of victims on the Nirvana." (II) (VII) 熘IX` doubt 3覇熘
Yun Yi walked to the sofa and coffee table, plopped down on the soft sofa, and said in a relaxed manner.
On the way back, she asked Swire curiously what all those supplies were for.
Swire called Yunyi an idiot and told him that most of the supplies were for the victims who were still in the driving space.
"So many living people, and you can forget them all?" Swire sighed, feeling helpless, yet also somewhat used to this guy's occasional unreliability.
She waved her hand: "Never mind, there should be a larger box among the supplies. Take it out first."
"Okay, is this one of theirs too?" Yun Yi looked up at the empty space behind the sofa. The iron box wrapped in an airbag, which Yun Yi had previously paid special attention to, came into her view.
“This is ours. I noticed earlier that this place looks like a bedroom, but there are basically no toiletries or other daily necessities, and there is only a bed... Now it seems that I won’t need this folding bed.”
Swire stepped forward and pressed the side of the metal box. With a gust of air, the airbag deflated and fell off, and the box popped open, revealing various daily necessities. The folding bed frame, gleaming with metallic luster, was particularly eye-catching.
Yun Yi even caught a glimpse of an object that looked like a small refrigerator: "You even have a refrigerator? You're really thoughtful."
"You don't need the bed? Um, you want to sleep with me?"
“Of course, we need points.” Swire’s ears were taut, and his face flushed red.
She coughed, bent down, took the refrigerator out, and put it aside: "The refrigerator wasn't my idea; it should be an add-on that the purchasing department decided to provide."
“Other things, um…” Swire’s fingertips landed on the four-piece bedding set in the bag, and she picked it up: “Make the bed first, and take the rest if you need them.”
With that, Swire closed the box, turned to the bed, and took a step toward it.
"Let me do it. Don't fall asleep while you're making the bed."
Yun Yi got up, walked around the sofa, took the four-piece bedding set, and also took the black box from Swire's other hand, whose expression showed obvious fatigue. "Is this all intelligence?"
"And my terminal, and maybe... cough, it's nothing."
Swire did not stop her, but after giving a brief explanation, he turned and vaguely went to the coffee table.
"Sounds like it concerns your privacy? Then you can keep it yourself." Yun Yi picked up the black box, glanced at it, and neatly placed it on the sofa.
"More or less..." Swire turned away guiltily, casually putting down the shoulder bag and weapon he had been carrying the whole way.
However, it was placed on the ground where there was no carpet—the weapons and bag were still covered in blood.
Then, she grasped the handle of the coffee pot: "Would you like some coffee?"
Yun Yi shook his head and said, "I don't want coffee, it looks bitter. But I am a little thirsty, do you have any water?"
“This kind is actually fine.” Swire shook the coffee in the pot, which had a faintly dark brown color. “Water… I’ll boil a pot for you.”
With that, Swire took the pot and went out again.
"There's no water here..." Yun Yi muttered in confusion.
Do the more luxurious private rooms usually have a private bathroom?
Hmm, Swire has a much better memory and observation skills than her. Perhaps this coffee shop is the kind that's upscale but doesn't have restrooms in the private rooms.
Having figured it out, Yunyi walked to the bedside and quickly put on the mint green four-piece bedding set.
Looking at the bed, which had suddenly become much cleaner, Yun Yi rested his chin on his hand and muttered to himself, "Swire said she wanted to sleep with me, but there isn't a second blanket. Does that mean we'll really just share one blanket?"
Is this okay?
Yun Yi knew that she had a habit of hugging something while sleeping, and there was no sense of distance between them. She was afraid that she would wake up to find Shi Huaiya being hugged by her, and then be kicked off the bed by the embarrassed and angry Shi Huaiya.

Book recommendation! The authors are finally promoting each other's books again!
The Days I Was Flirted With on the Starry Sky Railway
This is a fanfiction about Orange, also known as "Bengtie," which refers to Orange from the Starry Sky Railway.
According to the author, a small amount of Honkai Impact 3rd and Genshin Impact elements were added.
The dialogue is vivid, the psychological and physical descriptions are detailed, the relationships between the characters are delicate, the plot progresses naturally, and the pace is slightly slow, making it a writing style that leans towards immersion.
Then, this book has a secondary couple, Heita and Ruan Mei, and the first one to appear is Feixiao. According to the author's own book review, there are seven female protagonists, including Feixiao (does this mean I have a lot of female protagonists?).
Those who are interested can read it and give it a try!
Volume Two: Fireworks at Longmen: Chapter Fifty-Nine - A Cat's Tongue Is Afraid of Being Burned - Yun Yi's Tongue Is Even More Afraid of Being Burned
If Shi Huaiya were not in a conscious state, an overreaction kick might cause Yun Yi to die and fall into a coma for the first time in this other world.
"That's a rather shameful way to die."
Yun Yi felt a chill run down his spine just imagining it.
The first time I died was because of this? That's too funny, no way!
I need to find something to hold onto just in case.
Yun Yi quickly looked around and saw that there were only a few cushions on the sofa that he could use.
She went over and grabbed two cushions, then returned and placed them in the middle of the bed before nodding in relief: "This should be fine now."
"What's alright?"
Shi Huaiya had just entered the room carrying a kettle of hot water when she heard this and her tiger ears perked up slightly.
Her gaze swept over the made-up bed and the conspicuous cushions next to Yun Yi: "So the bed is fine now."
"Uh, pretty much."
Adding a cushion to prevent yourself from hugging people is also part of tidying up the bed. Once that's done, the bed is basically fine, no problem at all.
Yun Yi nodded in agreement: "I've got the sleeping area ready, no problem."
"Hard--"
Swire smiled and showed off the cute, pale yellow thermos in her hand: "I've come over to have some water and rest for a bit."
As she spoke, she went to the coffee table, picked up two cups, rinsed them with water from the kettle, filled them with water, placed one cup aside, and pushed the other to Yun Yi who had come over.
Yun Yi took the cup, took a sip, and exhaled, "Ouch, it's a bit hot."
"how come?"
She brought back a bottle of water, and before it was scalding hot, she made sure it wasn't too hot to drink.
Swire picked up the glass that was placed to the side, brought it to her thin lips, and silently sipped the water.
The lips/petals and the tip of the tongue feel warm but not hot.
"My cup isn't hot... Are you less heat-tolerant than me?"
"Ke (not a typo) can?" Yun Yi stuck out his tongue to relieve the pain on the tip, making his words muffled: "Gui Xu Wu Chi..."
Realizing he hadn't said "please" at all, Yun Yi paused to catch his breath. Once the pain in his tongue subsided, he withdrew his tongue and continued, "Maybe so. I've never been able to eat very hot food before, and I didn't expect it to be the same even after I changed bodies."
Because their bodies are more sensitive, it hurts even more when they get burned.
Yun Yi wiped away the tears that welled up in the corners of her eyes due to the physiological pain, "It burned my eyes so much that they came out."
"I'm sorry, I should have brought Chang Yueyi's warm water." Swire said apologetically.
She quickly went to the metal box, took out a food container from it, and handed it to Yunyi after returning.
Inside were neatly arranged segments of orange: "Hurry up and eat some fruit, it'll help you feel better!"
"There's no need to apologize. I didn't even know I couldn't drink hot water, how would you know—oh, thanks."
Yunyi took the orange storage box, poked one with the small fork inside, and put it in his mouth: "Chew... Hmm, tastes good. Chew, it seems to work. Chew, eh? I don't hurt anymore."
As Yunyi spoke, he ate several segments of orange, and the lingering burning sensation on the tip of his tongue was quickly extinguished by the refreshing and sweet orange juice.
Yun Yi ate another slice before handing back the food container: "Chew a bit, here you go, don't worry about it, we still have things to do, right?"
"It's useful, that's good. Hmm, I'll have to be more careful in the future, and not give you anything that's too warm to eat... Tell 001 and 002, and remember to be careful yourself. As for what happens next..."
As Shi Huaiya spoke, she frowned and gently covered the food container tightly along its edge, placing it away.
The cold white light from the chandelier fell on her, staining the ends of her hair a ginger-yellow color, giving her a slightly gentler appearance and revealing her subtle expressions and movements in detail.
Her expression and movements at that moment gave Yun Yi a subtle sense of familiarity.
His worried and self-reproachful expression, his rambling, thoughtful self-talk and instructions, and his gentle, skillful, and efficient actions...
Yun Yi scratched his head—hiss, Mom?
No, no, how could that be?
Yunyi immediately dismissed this absurd association.
She's just the older sister on the household registration, not the mother at all!
Swire had no idea that she almost became Yunyi's mother again.
Completely oblivious to Yun Yi's wildly imaginative ideas, she put down the food container and then stepped forward, placing her hand on Yun Yi's shoulder: "That's right, we can't delay any longer. Let's go, take me to the driving space."
"Okay." Feeling guilty, Yun Yi naturally did whatever Shi Huaiya said. With a thought, he reached for the collar.
As Yun Yi lightly touched the choker on his Adam's apple, the two entered the white, misty cockpit of the Nirvana.
A sudden patch of blackness spread out in one corner, which was the "Luper Gang Base" that Yun Yi had previously created under Swire's guidance.
"Huh?" Swire immediately realized that the position was wrong, and her tiger tail stiffened.
Why is she floating in mid-air again?
Seeing Shi Huaiya's stiff and helpless tail, Yun Yi quickly raised his hand and made a chair for her. He smiled apologetically and explained, "Haha, when I threw that old man out earlier, I also made some changes here."
"With so many victims, we couldn't keep them in cramped cages forever, so I converted the base into a large prison of the same style and moved it to the side. Then, without realizing it..."
"You moved the chair I was given earlier over there too? You thought it was a good idea, but you did it so sloppily." Swire had already guessed what was going to happen next. She held onto the chair and shook her stiff tiger tail to soften it, feeling speechless.
Yunyi really does have a knack for surprising Swire in some strange and bizarre places, thanks to her terrible memory (and sometimes a bit of a shock).
Swire, who had been tricked, now had the urge to restart the prank she had prepared last night—she couldn't be the only one being scared all the time, could she?
"Uh, sorry, sorry!"
Yun Yi quickly clasped his hands together, tilted his head, and tried to look pitiful: "We were still acting at the time, and in the chaos..."
Her efforts resulted in success only from her hesitant and stammering tone.
The so-called pitiful expression not only had little variation, but also showed some twitching due to lack of practice.
—Yun Yi's skill at feigning helplessness is just as terrible as her memory.
But thanks to her stunning looks that could disrupt traffic and her status as one of their own, Swire was genuinely stung: "...Use your brain next time."
Forget it this time.
"Okay!" Yun Yi understood the subtext and nodded, relaxing.
Then she suddenly realized.
Why did I get so nervous that I started to act pitiful?
It's just that I forgot to tell Swire, which startled her a bit. Why don't you just say the reason directly?
Why did she instinctively apologize and ask for forgiveness first?
Before Yun Yi could figure out the reason, Swire had already recovered and sat down in a chair, reaching out to tug at Yun Yi's sleeve: "Take out those supplies and put them directly into the prison you made."
"By the way, could you impose some restrictions on the people inside, so they can only take and use their own share?"
