Chapter 48 The fist is hard, and the wand is not soft either.
Snape left the sobbing Malfoy behind and headed towards the first-year students' dormitory. Goyle and Crabbe had just finished changing when Snape pulled them out to confront them.
Having received an affirmative answer, Snape went to Chu Yang's room with surprise and doubt.
Malfoy and his two companions followed closely behind Snape.
Snape pushed the door open forcefully, then looked up and found that there was no damage anywhere.
Chu Yang, who had just come out of the restroom, saw Snape with a frosty expression and Malfoy looking aggrieved behind him.
Chu Yang smiled and said, "Professor Snape, what brings you here so early in the morning?"
Snape took a deep breath, avoiding the question about the bookmarks, and instead asked, "Mr. Malfoy is your roommate, but he slept in the common room last night. Aren't you going to explain that?"
Chu Yang glanced quickly at Malfoy and his two companions, then asked in surprise, "Malfoy actually slept in the common room last night?"
A look of regret crossed his face, and his tone was apologetic. "I went to bed early last night, and Malfoy and the others woke me up when they came back. I complained a bit, and that's probably why he went to sleep in the common room."
Chu Yang looked at Malfoy with a smile, "I'm sorry, Malfoy."
Malfoy felt a chill run down his spine!
"However, I remember I invited you to stay and rest later, didn't I?" Chu Yang stared sincerely at Malfoy and the other two.
Gore and Crabbe nodded subconsciously. Chu Yang hadn't lied; he had indeed asked Malfoy to stay last night, but the man was too scared and ran away.
Having finally understood the whole story, Snape looked coldly at Malfoy. "Mr. Malfoy, I am a person who hates lies. I will tell your father the truth about your behavior today."
Malfoy immediately let out a scream!
The most sophisticated lie in the world is to scramble the truth and then embellish it.
Chu Yang smiled contentedly, but in the eyes of Gore and Crabbe, his smile was like that of a devil.
"Hurry up and get to class!"
Snape roared, causing Malfoy and his two companions to hurriedly leave the dormitory.
Before leaving, Snape gave Chu Yang a deep look.
He knew things weren't as simple as Chu Yang had made them out to be, but since the other party hadn't given anything away, there was no need for him to pursue the matter further.
As for Malfoy, Snape's anger towards him stemmed entirely from his stupidity.
If arrogance is not commensurate with ability, then one is just an arrogant idiot.
Knowing Snape's temperament, Chu Yang understood from the other party's reaction that this matter was now closed.
When Chu Yang woke up this morning, the first thing Qian did was to erase all traces of last night.
After removing the bookmark, he used a restoration spell to restore everything.
Snape probably never imagined that a newly enrolled wizard could be so skilled at casting spells.
After Malfoy, his two companions, and Snape left the dormitory, Chu Yang leisurely packed his things and went out. He was blocked by several upperclassmen as soon as he reached the common room.
"Kid, I heard you took down a lot of classmates the other night? What you learned in the Muggle world won't always be useful here." A tall, upperclassman glared down at Chu Yang.
Chu Yang smiled politely and said, "It's alright, as long as it worked the night before last!"
Upon hearing Chu Yang's reply, the tall, upperclassman's anger surged. He hadn't expected a freshman to dare to talk back to him like that.
"Harper!" A tall, thin boy with long curly hair reached out to stop the older student who was about to explode in anger. "We are wizards, not thugs fighting in the streets of the Muggle world. We have our own way of handling things."
The burly boy named Harper, suppressing his anger, took a few steps back and said in a deep voice, "You're right, Marcus."
As they spoke, the long-haired boy named Marcus pulled a wand from his robes and pointed it at Chu Yang, "Do you know how many points our academy lost because of you? And this is only the beginning of the semester!"
Seeing him take out his wand, Chu Yang's polite smile vanished, replaced by a stern expression. He said, "First, I've already made up for the points Slytherin lost. Second, are you sure you want to do this? Do you have the courage to bear all the consequences?"
"Courage?" Marcus chuckled, teasingly adding, "Courage isn't Gryffindor's exclusive domain; Slytherin is never short of courage either."
As the two confronted each other, another upperclassman walked up from the spiral staircase. He exuded a strong aura and walked confidently to their side, saying, "Marcus, don't go too far, or I won't be able to explain it to the school. This is my last year at the school, and I don't want to leave a stain on my record."
"No problem, Prefect. I'll use a simple petrification spell to keep him in the common room all day," Marcus replied respectfully.
The man gave Chu Yang a cold glance before leaving the lounge without looking back.
Is it a big deal to punish a non-pure-blood wizard in Slytherin?
of course not!
The group of upperclassmen wanted to teach Chu Yang a lesson last night, but they couldn't find him because he had changed dorm rooms at the last minute.
Who would have thought that Chu Yang, who came from an orphanage, could live in a double room?
Students kept walking past Chu Yang, and everyone seemed very indifferent.
Nobody here cares about his fate...
"Slytherin is a good place, I'm really growing to like it more and more." Chu Yang's lips curled up, but his eyes were sending out a dangerous signal.
"I'll show you that fists are useless against wizards!" Marcus waved his wand while chanting a spell. His casting speed was incredibly fast, completing the spell in almost two seconds.
The tip of Marcus's wand gleamed faintly.
With a forceful swing, the activated spell shot towards Chu Yang like lightning.
Chu Yang dodged the spell by sidestepping, and even twisted his waist as he did so, mocking, "You're quite skilled at using spells, aren't you? But you're too slow. Even my neighbor's grandma is more agile than you."
"Is this how wizards handle things? Not even as strong as a Muggle's fist."
Chu Yang's words weren't very offensive, but they were extremely insulting. The students watching the spectacle burst into laughter, and Marcus's face visibly turned red. He raised his hand, preparing to unleash an even more powerful spell.
Saying "stop when you've got it" is pointless; Marcus, enraged, only wanted to kill Chu Yang.
"Confringo!"
Marcus is casting an explosion spell (Thunder Explosion)!
Unfortunately, Chu Yang, who possessed Observation Haki, had already taken out his wand and cast a spell before Marcus could even utter a sound.
"Expelliarmus!"
Defeat your weapons!
A flash of light shot out from the tip of Chu Yang's wand, hitting Marcus's wand precisely and sending it flying.
The laughter that had been filling the common room abruptly stopped, and everyone stared in shock at the first-year student who had caused such a big stir.
Clearly, this is not the scene they wanted to see.
