One morning, when Liu Yu woke up, he found that Bai Suzhen was not beside him. A sense of doubt arose in his heart, and he got up to look for her. Just as he stepped out of the room, a black lightning bolt suddenly streaked across the sky, followed by a muffled clap of thunder.

Liu Yu's heart tightened, and an ominous premonition welled up inside him. He quickened his pace and arrived at the lakeside, only to see Bai Suzhen staring blankly at the lake, her eyes filled with worry.

"Suzhen, what happened?" Liu Yu asked with concern.

Bai Suzhen turned her head to look at Liu Yu and slowly said, "Liu Lang, I sense an evil force awakening, and I'm afraid another disaster is about to strike."

Liu Yu held Bai Suzhen's hand and comforted her, "Don't be afraid. No matter what happens, we'll face it together."

Just then, a huge vortex appeared in the sky, and a dark shadow slowly descended from it. The shadow enveloped the entire lake surface, exuding a suffocating sense of oppression.

Liu Yu looked closely and saw a ferocious monster emerge from the shadows. Its body was enormous, covered with sharp spikes, and its eyes gleamed with a blood-red light.

"You ants, how dare you enjoy this moment of peace!" the monster roared, its voice like thunder.

Liu Yu stepped forward and said, "Who are you? Why are you disturbing our peace?"

The monster laughed loudly: "I am the messenger of darkness, sent to destroy this world. Although the Qiankun Mirror in your hands has disappeared, your existence is still a threat to darkness."

Bai Suzhen said, "We will never let you succeed!"

The monster sneered and lunged at them, brandishing its enormous claws. Liu Yu and Bai Suzhen quickly dodged and engaged the monster in a fierce battle.

Liu Yu unleashed her magic, shooting beams of light at the monster, but its skin was as hard as iron, rendering the light ineffective. Bai Suzhen then used her water magic, summoning massive waves to crash into the monster, but it only swayed slightly before continuing its attack.

Under the monster's powerful attacks, Liu Yu and Bai Suzhen gradually found themselves in a predicament. Their strength was constantly being depleted, while the monster seemed to be growing stronger and stronger.

"Liu Lang!" Bai Suzhen cried out in grief.

Her anger erupted instantly, and her entire body radiated a powerful light. She charged at the monster, the magical light in her hand coalescing into a sharp sword, which she thrust straight at the black mark on the monster's chest.

The monster let out a scream as the black mark was shattered by the sword. Its body began to disintegrate, turning into a wisp of black smoke and disappearing into the air.

After the battle, Bai Suzhen ran to Liu Yu's side and picked up his weak body.

"Liu Lang, you must hold on." Bai Suzhen said, tears streaming down her face.

Liu Yu opened her eyes with difficulty and smiled, saying, "Suzhen, don't be sad, I'm fine."

However, Liu Yu's injuries were too severe, and she fell into a coma.

Bai Suzhen brought Liu Yu back home and stayed by his bedside day and night, constantly channeling her magic power into him, hoping to save his life.

Just when Bai Suzhen was feeling desperate, a mysterious immortal appeared before them.
