Chapter 11 Spells Lesson
Chapter 11 Spells Lesson
I don't know if I was a little distracted, but when I turned the corner, I bumped into someone without noticing.
[Jin: Ding—Contact with Cedric Diggory has been completed. Rewards: 100 Bond Points, 100 Experience Points, 10 Affection Points, 1 Luck Point]
Wow~ This mission completion sound is much more useful than radar; you know who you bumped into in an instant.
"Junior, are you alright?" He's truly the No. 1 gentle senior in my past life. His voice is so captivating, so soft and gentle, like Cedric Diggory.
[Jin: Ding—Target Cedric Diggory,]
Please discuss your experience with Transfiguration with him.
Rewards: 100 Bond Points, 100 Experience Points, 10 Favorability Points, 1 Luck Point.
"I'm sorry, senior, I didn't mean it. I have to rush to the Spells class now. I'll talk to you about it later. My name is Aysholt." Perhaps a fleeting encounter is a more meaningful way to begin getting to know each other.
If I don't reply to Cedric Diggory, I'll have a reason to contact him next time. Of course, I should leave something behind so that he has a reason to contact me as well.
I ran off in an instant, disappearing from sight completely.
Cedric Diggory was speechless at his clumsy junior, and picked up the Transfiguration notes from the ground.
“Ays Hall?” Cedric Diggory felt a strange unease in his heart for some reason.
After running quickly past the corner, my pace gradually slowed down. I wasn't in a hurry at all. Actually, there was still plenty of time to get to the spell classroom. What I just experienced was just a chance encounter.
It felt as if I had calculated the time from the Transfiguration Classroom to the Spells Classroom without even realizing it; I had just walked into the classroom and sat down.
Professor Felix Flitwick walked in. Due to his height, the petite professor used magic to stack his desk and books high, allowing him to stand on a high place to give his lecture so that everyone could see him.
This class was still with Gryffindor, but since the desks were arranged side by side, separating the two houses, and I didn't know anyone in Slytherin, plus I had just missed a class, I could only sit in the corner.
"I am Felius Flitwick, Ravenclaw Gardens Professor of Charms. Welcome to your first Charms class," Professor Felius Flitwick introduced himself in a friendly manner.
“I know that some of you students have never been exposed to magic before, but that’s not important. Your magic is not yet mature, and the lead of a few children does not mean anything.”
"If you keep up with my pace in class, you will learn a great deal of profound knowledge and gain a better understanding of the magical world."
In the first lesson, Professor Flitwick didn't teach any spells. He simply taught us the correct way to wave a wand over and over again. In his explanation, casting a spell requires proper chanting, accurate waving, and a high degree of concentration.
To become an excellent wizard, you must master these fundamental skills.
The bell rang, and the first morning's classes were all over. All the little wizards who had attended class were starving.
As soon as get out of class ended, everyone quickly packed up their books and headed to the hall or auditorium for lunch.
I didn't keep up with the group; I waited until all the students had left before heading towards Professor Felix Fritville.
"Professor Flitwick, may I bother you for a moment?" Although I haven't been to Ravenclaw, I still miss the books in their common room. But I should still greet the Dean first, otherwise I might be kicked out by the students of that house.
"Child, what is it? Tell me." Felius Fritville quite liked these good students who asked questions, and he would always answer their questions if they didn't understand something.
"Professor, I've heard that there are many books in the Ravenclaw common room. As a Slytherin student, may I borrow some?"
“But son, doesn’t our school have a library? You don’t necessarily need to borrow books from the Ravenclaw common room.” Felius Flitwick was a little puzzled. Didn’t the school library have a much larger collection? There was no need to borrow books from the Ravenclaw common room.
“Since you’re the headmaster of Ravenclaw, I wanted to greet you first. I’m afraid that if I suddenly showed up in the Ravenclaw common room one day, I’d be kicked out,” he said to Flitwick jokingly.
“Hehe, it’s alright, we Ravenclaws always welcome little wizards who love learning.” Felius Flitwick laughed heartily as well.
"Okay, thank you, Professor." He parted ways with Professor Flitwick at the classroom door.
I don't plan to eat in the large hall or auditorium. I'm going to go to the kitchen and find some snacks to fill my stomach.
I want to finish that reading quest as soon as possible. Potions will be available on Friday, so I hope to complete the quest in the next few days and hopefully get a good score in front of the Church of Strange.
I went to the kitchen to get a few pieces of bread, then went back to the lounge to brush my books.
Unbeknownst to me, in the Great Hall, Severus was eating his lunch while searching for a figure at his Serpent Head table.
Cedric Diggory was also looking for the junior who had bumped into him; he needed to return his notebook, but he couldn't find him after searching for a long time.
Percy Weasley didn't know what was wrong with him. Ever since Ayers was sorted into Slytherin, he had wanted to cut ties with him, but for some reason, he wanted to look toward the Slytherin table.
Oliver Wood glanced at his roommate a few times, then followed his friend's gaze, searching for a figure.
Fred and George were also looking for someone. They had originally wanted to have dinner with Ayers, but they had walked too fast and lost sight of him.
[Jin: Ding—Target: Severus Snape]
The target of the pursuit is Cedric Diggory.
The target of the romance is Percy Weasley.
The target of the romance is Fred Weasley.
The target of the pursuit is George Weasley.
The target of the pursuit is Oliver Wood.
Each reward grants: 5 points of favorability, 100 experience points, and 1 point of luck.
Uh... it's so sudden... why the sudden reward? I don't think I did anything special, I was just eating and reading in my dorm.
Forget it, let nature take its course. I'd better hurry up and read my book; I'm pressed for time.
Time flies, and the afternoon herbalism class passed by in a flash. This herbalism class was taught together with the Hufflepuff first year class. Since I didn't have any Hufflepuff first year friends, I had to complete the in-class assignments given by the professor alone.
Don't expect anyone from Slytherin to partner with me; it's already a miracle they haven't tripped me up.
