Chapter 138 Christmas Holiday End
Chapter 138 Christmas Holiday End
The three of us were eerily quiet as we ate breakfast, not knowing what to do with this holiday.
"Brother, are you really not going to bother with your shamanic party anymore?" I was curious. When Gellert Grindelwald was imprisoned, it seemed like none of his men went to look for him. Had they been abandoned?
"This isn't our generation's era anymore. How many people still have the energy to play those scheming games? The group has long since disbanded," Gellert Grindelwald said calmly.
"So how are you going to live the rest of your days?" I cut off a piece of meat with some fat and stuffed it directly into Riddle's mouth. Watching Riddle calmly chew and swallow the meat, I grinned from ear to ear.
“I want to go find Albus Dumbledore.” Gellert Grindelwald couldn’t help but feel envious, especially seeing how I spent time with Riddle, which reminded him of his lover.
“Go if you want, no one’s stopping you.” Riddle and I quietly continued eating our breakfast.
"Hmm." Gellert Grindelwald responded and looked away, beginning to eat his breakfast seriously.
Aside from receiving and sending a bunch of gifts, nothing much seemed to happen during this Christmas holiday.
Because I had special privileges, I didn't even have to do homework or write papers. I was just a little bored, and Riddle and Gellert Grindelwald noticed that I was bored, so they found some interesting books for me to read.
These past few days, Riddle and Gellert Grindelwald have been plotting something. They left home early this morning, and now I'm all alone.
Just a few days before the end of the holiday, I received an owl letter from Severus, in which he wrote about everything that had happened during that time, telling me all the details.
After reading the letter, I also wrote back to Severus.
It turns out that Severus had already finished his own business; his letters were mostly asking how I was doing.
My friends Gemini and Percy, who live in the Burrow, also asked me how my vacation was. They were at home playing, building snowmen and having snowball fights, and they even sent some magical photos.
Looking at the photos makes me happy.
Cedric also wrote to me, asking how I was doing, and included a bunch of small candies, which seemed to be souvenirs he and his father brought back for me when they went on a trip.
Oliver, however, was a bit odd. He sent me a bunch of Quidditch training plans and asked if I had any suggestions for improvement.
This is truly a heartfelt love for Quidditch; it's so endearing.
Finally, there are Harry and Draco's letters.
Harry asked me how my holidays were, and he also wrote in his letter about his encounter with the Mirror of Erised. After reading Harry's letter, I also became very interested in the mirror, but later Harry mentioned that the headmaster had taken it away, so it seems I won't have a chance to see it.
Finally, there's Draco. In his letter, he kept complaining about how the Christmas party at home went, but in the end, he asked me, with a touch of arrogance, how I'd been doing lately.
I received a bunch of emails asking how my holiday was, and I answered them all the same way: I stayed home the whole time.
In my past life, I was a homebody and staying at home was nothing, let alone now, I'm doing incredibly well.
However, time flies, and the holiday was over in the blink of an eye.
"Ayers, be careful." Riddle stood at the door and watched me 'Apparition' leave.
"I'll come back to see you when I have my vacation." I was a little reluctant to leave Riddle after 'disappearing', so I came back, threw down my suitcase, and gave Riddle a heartfelt hug.
Our lips touched gently, as if expressing our love and reluctance to part.
This kiss was filled with tenderness and affection, but also with the sadness of parting.
Our kiss deepened, as if we wanted to merge our souls together.
At that moment, I felt his love for me, and I also felt my deep reluctance to part with him.
However, I know that we both have our own things to do and can't be tied together every day.
Finally, we let go of each other's embrace.
I picked up my luggage and turned to walk towards the door.
He watched my retreating figure, his heart filled with sorrow and reluctance. But he also knew that he had to let me go.
"Ayers, you must come back to see me again next vacation." Riddle always felt uneasy when we parted, afraid that I would disappear for a while again and he wouldn't be able to find me.
"Don't worry, you can still find me now. If you want to, just find a way to get into Hogwarts." Am I encouraging Riddle to cause trouble at Hogwarts?
He stopped at the door, turned around, and looked at Riddle again.
Our eyes met, as if we were telling each other what was on our minds.
Then, I smiled slightly and said, "Goodbye, my love."
He smiled and replied, "Goodbye, my darling. I'll be waiting for you to come back."
This time, Apparition has truly left and will not return.
Riddle looked at the spot where I had disappeared, his heart filled with loss and sorrow.
But he knew he couldn't keep holding me back forever.
As I searched through the train carriage for my group of potential romantic partners.
"Ayers, you're here." The sharp-eyed Fred spotted me as soon as he opened the door and immediately made way for me to sit between him and George.
"Sorry to keep you waiting. I left home a little late, so I'm a bit late as well." I took out the food box that Riddle had prepared for me, which was meant for me to eat in the car.
"It's pretty good." As soon as it was taken out, George picked up a small piece of cake and stuffed it into his mouth.
"Yes, it was made by my family. You should all try it." Riddle is indeed my family, my man.
"Not bad." Cedric and Oliver also picked up some cookies and ate them, finding them quite acceptable.
"It would be even better if it came with a drink." Oliver felt a little thirsty after a few bites.
"Here, one cup for each of you." I took out a few bottles of lemonade from my portable backpack.
"Ayers, you really know what you're doing." Fred stuffed a small piece of cake, which he didn't particularly like, into my mouth.
"It's all for emergencies," I said after finishing chewing and swallowing the small cake.
“I just noticed, Ayers, how did you manage to hide so many things on you?” George asked curiously, rummaging through me.
"I know a little spatial magic." That was the only way I could tell them so as not to reveal my mobile backpack.
"Oh~ You even understand spatial magic, Ayers." This time it was Percy's turn to be surprised.
"Yes, a little bit." I need to be tactful; I'm stating the truth, absolutely a tiny bit.
