Chapter 136 Dragon Slayer Magic and Overlord Binding
Chapter 136 Dragon Slayer Magic and Overlord Binding
When all the magic power in his body reached its peak, Minos slowly raised his right hand.
His fist was already wrapped in black and purple lightning, clearly a dragon-slaying magic, exuding a destructive aura.
Minos's gaze locked onto Whitebeard across from him, a chilling killing intent flashing in his eyes. He roared, "Old man Whitebeard, I'll make you feel true despair!"
"Demon - Ordinary Punch!"
Before he finished speaking, a huge, dark purple fist appeared out of thin air, blasting towards Whitebeard with boundless power.
The blackish-purple lightning on the fist, like a raging thunder serpent, wildly distorted the surrounding space. Wherever the fist passed, everything was crushed into dust, even space itself was torn apart, emitting a piercing shattering sound.
Whitebeard stared intently at the chilling attack, his expression grave. He could feel the terrifying power contained within that punch, and his heart tightened involuntarily.
He took a deep breath, trying to calm his inner turmoil, and then shouted in a deep voice: "Overlord Slash!"
As his voice fell, he swung out the Murakumogiri sword, and a red and black energy lightning bolt collided with the black and purple fist in mid-air.
boom--!
The two forces clashed fiercely in the air, with black-purple and red-black lightning intertwining, devouring and tearing at each other, as if two ferocious beasts were vying for dominance.
A storm raged in Whitebeard's heart: "How is this possible? This dark purple energy can actually contend with my Overlord's Entanglement?"
The ground cracked under the impact of the energy, and the entire island shook violently. Sand and stones were swirled up, forming violent gusts of air that spread in all directions.
The impact only subsided when it reached the sea surface. However, the ocean had already been churned into a turbulent sea by this force, with giant waves rolling one after another, as if telling the story of the horror of this battle.
Meanwhile, on the turbulent sea, a huge warship was quietly sailing.
The warship flew a seagull flag, symbolizing the navy's prestige. At the bow, two figures stood, their gazes fixed solemnly on the earth-shattering battle taking place on a distant island.
One person was wearing a white suit and a white justice cape; the other person was wearing a red suit and also a white justice cape.
They were none other than Admiral Aokiji and Admiral Sakazuki.
Aokiji stared at the terrifying scene of black-purple and red-black lightning intertwined on the island, his brow furrowed and his expression grave. This scene reminded him of the earth-shattering battle between Minos and Kaido in Loguetown.
Sakazuki also gazed into the distance, a cold glint in his eyes. He spoke in a deep voice, "Is that the great battle between Minos and Whitebeard on the island?"
Aokiji nodded, his tone heavy: "That's right, this is the duel between Minos and Whitebeard. I will never forget his black and purple lightning."
Sakazuki scoffed, his tone laced with disdain: "I don't understand what Fleet Admiral Sengoku is worried about. Is a mere Whitebeard worth such a fuss?"
Aokiji shook his head helplessly. To be honest, he didn't know what Fleet Admiral Sengoku was thinking, sending him and Sakazuki on such a strange mission!
He recalled Fleet Admiral Sengoku's instructions over the Den Den Mushi: "If the Whitebeard Pirates engage in a battle at the Emperor level with other forces or Minos, do not intervene. Wait until they are both severely weakened, then we can reap the benefits."
Upon hearing these words, Sakazuki unsurprisingly engaged in a fierce argument with Sengoku no Marshal.
He insisted that Whitebeard was nothing more than a remnant of the old era and was not worth fearing at all. He even suggested launching a Buster Call to wipe out the Whitebeard Pirates in one fell swoop.
The Sengoku commander on the other end of the Den Den Mushi was clearly angered by Sakazuki's attitude, and the two argued for a long time.
Finally, Sengoku coldly uttered, "This is an order from the World Government." Only then did Sakazuki reluctantly shut his mouth.
Thinking of this, Aokiji said in a deep voice, "Our mission is to prevent the sea from descending into chaos again. You should still remember the turmoil not long ago."
Sakazuki remained silent for a moment, his gaze still fixed on Aokiji, and said coldly, "Then let them both suffer heavy losses. I will personally intervene then. You'd better not try to stop me!"
Aokiji smiled faintly and said calmly, "Of course, maybe I'll join you in capturing Whitebeard and Minos."
Sakazuki scoffed, "I don't need your help. I'm fine on my own."
Aokiji shook his head helplessly, sighing inwardly, "As expected, I still can't get along with this guy."
……
On the battlefield at this moment, the wind howled, dark clouds loomed overhead, and the air was filled with the strong smell of gunpowder and energy fluctuations.
Minos stood on a pile of ruins, watching as his massive, dark purple fist clashed violently with Murakumo Kiriha Tensei from a distance.
A smug smile crept across his lips as he laughed loudly, "Old white-bearded fellow, didn't expect that, did you! My dark purple energy has the same effect as your 'Entanglement' technique!"
At this moment, the white-bearded man's face was terribly gloomy, and the veins on his forehead were throbbing faintly.
He clenched his fists, inwardly cursing himself for his miscalculation. He never expected that Minos's dark purple energy could actually contend with his domineering energy, and even showed a slight tendency to suppress it.
"Hmph!" Whitebeard immediately snorted coldly, a ruthless glint flashing in his eyes.
He suddenly activated the Conqueror's Haki within him, and red energy surged out of his body like a volcanic eruption, instantly dyeing the surrounding air blood red, intending to defeat Minos in one fell swoop.
Minos sensed the surge of Whitebeard's domineering energy, but he was not afraid at all. Instead, he chuckled.
His fist trembled slightly, and the dark purple dragon-slaying magic energy suddenly intensified, like a dragon awakening from the abyss, roaring as it clashed with Whitebeard's red and black Haki once again from a distance.
The two energies collided violently in the air, and black-purple and red-black lightning intertwined, as if two giant snakes were tearing and entangled.
A piercing explosion rang out in the air, and space itself seemed to distort. The surrounding ruins were shattered by the aftershocks of energy, sending debris flying and dust billowing everywhere.
"Boom!" With a loud bang.
The two energies reached a critical point and suddenly exploded.
The powerful shockwave spread outwards like a tsunami, destroying everything in its path.
The ground cracked open with countless bottomless fissures, the ruins were completely leveled, and even the distant sea was stirred up by this force to create towering waves.
The tsunami roared like a giant beast, sweeping towards the already shattered island.
The waves were tens of meters high, as if they were about to swallow the entire island.
The sky was even more terrifying; the originally gloomy clouds were torn apart by energy, forming two completely different skies.
On one side, black and purple lightning intertwined, while on the other side, a domineering red and black aura raged, as if the heavens and earth had been split in two.
