Chapter 5 Gandalf
Chapter 5 Gandalf
Aragorn was slightly taken aback by the news. His initial wariness lessened somewhat, and he said in a somber tone, "Please accept my condolences."
Tie Hui nodded, maintaining a faint sense of sadness.
He suppressed the urge to laugh.
After throwing the last charred orc corpse into the pit and then backfilling it.
The group then began packing their gear, preparing to return to Rivendell.
Aragorn stood up and looked at Ironhide beside him: "Come with us to Rivendell!"
Tie Hui couldn't wait to go to Rivendell, and immediately nodded in agreement.
Aragorn nodded and beckoned to the people behind him, and an elf immediately led a fine horse to the side.
Tie Hui took the reins and flipped himself onto the horse.
As the son of a family of traveling merchants, he learned many things from a young age, such as horsemanship.
Aragorn nodded and followed the others onto their horses.
With shouts of "Giddy up!" echoing one after another, the herd of horses neighed and began to gallop rapidly toward Rivendell.
But what they didn't know was that as they walked further away, they found themselves in a pile of rocks in the valley.
A half-orc with a ferocious expression and eyes full of fear stealthily looked up in the direction they had gone.
Especially the strange man in the long robe in the group, whose red light still makes him tremble.
Moreover, he overheard all the conversations between the elves and humans.
He must report this news to Lord Saruman!
……
When they arrived at a canyon forest, the group stopped and began to rest.
This is also a supply station; after resupplying, humans and elves will separate.
Tie Hui asked, somewhat puzzled, "I heard that the human nations here have collapsed! So what's the deal with these fully armed humans?"
After swallowing a mouthful of dry rations, Aragorn said, "They are all people we've supported! It wasn't necessary, but the forces of darkness have been growing stronger in recent years. The elves are few in number, so we must support some humans, at least to give them the ability to protect themselves."
"The legendary Demon Lord Sauron?" Tie Hui asked knowingly.
"Yes! You came from the direction of Lonely Mountain, you must have encountered a lot of orcs, right?"
Tie Hui nodded and glanced at the group of humans who had already begun packing up to prepare for their evacuation.
With a sudden thought, he spoke up: "Along the way, there were many orcs slaughtering villages, and they seemed to be looking for something. I also saw some black knights dressed in black robes and covered in black armor, riding black steeds! They also seemed to be looking for something! And the further west I went, the more often and in greater numbers I encountered them. Until I caught a lone orc, from whom I learned that their orders were to find something that looked like a ring."
Aragorn paused, his hand holding the dry rations darting around, a thoughtful look flashing in his eyes. He seemed to recall Gandalf mentioning something about a ring.
It seems to be in the hands of a hobbit!
Moreover, when he went out to exterminate the orcs, King Elrond had instructed him to return as soon as possible. Gandalf had important matters to discuss with them.
Thinking about the increasing number of orcs and the growing power of the so-called dark forces that Elrond spoke of, he suddenly thought of the Lord of the Rings of Sauron.
His expression turned somewhat serious!
He quickly finished what he was eating, took a sip of water, and began packing his things.
The surrounding elves remained silent upon seeing this, quickly finished their food, and began tidying up their belongings.
This left Tie Hui utterly puzzled: "What happened?"
"There are some things! And we need to hurry, and we need you to recount everything that happened on your way here from the East." Aragorn said, gripping the saddle, before abruptly rising and mounting his horse.
When Tie Hui heard this, his heart skipped a beat.
But there was nothing they could do but pack their things and follow them quickly toward Rivendell.
Tie Hui gazed at the waterfall that resembled a galaxy cascading from the heavens, and at Rivendell, perched on a cliff face.
Tie Hui had to admit that the elves had excellent taste.
But when he saw the two people waiting on the steps by the bridge, his expression remained unchanged, but his heart sank.
Elrond and Gandalf looked at the travel-worn group with smiles on their faces.
King Elrond spoke first: "You've worked hard, go and rest!"
Arwen suddenly appeared at that moment, ran forward and hugged Aragorn as he dismounted.
King Elrond, who had been smiling, subtly changed his expression.
This scene immediately caused the elves who had returned with them to leave, leaving only the five standing there.
Looking at the complicated relationships between Elrond and his family, Tie Hui suddenly sensed something and immediately looked around to search for the source of the information. He then saw Gandalf, holding a pipe, standing on the steps behind him, scrutinizing him.
Tie Hui felt a sudden pang of panic for no reason. This was Mya!
Fortunately, Gandalf didn't say anything throughout the whole thing, but instead asked Aragorn about the trip.
King Elrond turned his gaze to Tie Hui, sized him up, and then smiled again: "This is the guest from the far east you told me about?"
Aragorn nodded, and then repeated what Ironfair had told him.
Elrond took a deep breath and looked at Ironbeam: "The power of the Demon Lord Sauron is growing stronger and stronger!"
Gandalf finally spoke, saying, "That's why we need your help this time!"
Aragorn nodded.
"I just returned from Gondor, and I found the One Ring in the Shire. It's in the hands of a hobbit! The Ringwraiths are searching for it!"
Upon hearing this, everyone present, except for Tie Hui who was pretending to be confused, stood up in shock.
"Are you sure?" King Elrond's voice trembled slightly.
Gandalf nodded helplessly, puffing on his pipe.
King Elrond, who had been clinging to a sliver of hope, suddenly lost all strength and sat down on the steps beside him.
"We must find a way to destroy it!"
Elrond's expression was somewhat grave: "But only the lava from Mount Doom can completely destroy it!"
Alvin looked at the three of them: "The problem is, how are we going to deliver it there? That's Sauron's stronghold!"
This question left everyone speechless.
Seeing the group's momentary dejection, Tie Hui pondered for a moment before speaking, "How about we send the ring here first? Then we can gather some capable individuals and representatives from various countries to discuss how to handle the Ring!"
He had intended to immediately assign the task of escorting the ring to the hobbits.
Then he could seize the opportunity to join the party, and when the time was right, such as when Sam and Frodo were alone, he could forcibly take the Ring and return to Warhammer.
