Chapter 141 Brutal
Chapter 141 Brutal
Jiang Yu was vomiting uncontrollably and didn't even have time to complain about Keslan's insane behavior. Fine, fine, he deliberately scared her to satisfy his perverse sense of humor, huh? That's really great, thank you, I was scared.
After she finished vomiting, without even lifting her head, she held out her hand to Keslan, palm up: "Handkerchief, thank you."
Keslan pursed his lips, took out a handkerchief from his pocket and handed it over. This woman always knew how to halve his happiness, and she didn't even make a sound or cry. She was really boring.
"Could you please pile all of these... in the corner?" Jiang Yu wiped her mouth, threw the dirty handkerchief into the corner, and looked back at Keslan.
"You've achieved your prank. Now pack up your props, please." It was so disgusting; she really didn't want to look at it again.
"Hmph." Keslan felt like he had shot himself in the foot. It was the first time he had killed someone and now he had to clean up the scene himself. He muttered to himself, waiting to send the bill to Hollandpur and make that woman cry her heart out.
Although the corpses could be piled up in a corner, the bloodstains were difficult to clean up. So Jiang Yu sat in the only clean spot in the middle, hugging her knees, feeling dizzy from the smell of blood. She just hoped it would end soon so she could get out of this hellish place.
"What's going on? Why haven't Amu and the others come up yet? Hey! Amu, Big Head, are you guys done yet?" A moment later, the pirates' questions and conversations came from above the hold.
"Maybe those guys couldn't resist, hehe, a woman as beautiful as that, who could resist? I would too..."
"Hehehe..." A series of lewd and wicked whispers rang out, and Keslan's eyes turned cold. What a bunch of reckless scum.
"Let's go down and check. Don't let these idiots ruin things. Lust is a dangerous thing. Don't they want to live?" The pirate who spoke first opened the hatch of the hold and stepped down first.
"There's a smell of blood; it seems the problem has been solved." As he spoke, two more pirates followed him down.
"Hey, these guys are pretty quick. Such a strong smell, did they chop someone up? Huh, where's everyone? Did they go take care of that guy over there?" The three pirates, still adjusting to the dim light and only smelling the blood, speculated.
"Bang!" The hatch door was slammed shut. The three pirates were about to look up in alarm when they were drawn to the noise at their feet.
"Gurgle, gurgle..." A round, spherical object rolled out of the darkness and bumped into one of the pirates' boots.
"What the hell is this?" the pirate cursed as he looked down, but the moment he saw it clearly, his hair stood on end and cold sweat poured down his back.
"Amu!" he cried out in alarm, drawing his machete and fearfully pointing it at the darkness around him.
Seeing their companion's reaction, the other two pirates also instinctively looked at the things on the ground, only to meet a pair of unseeing, lifeless eyes.
"Ah!" one of the pirates jumped up, screaming in terror. He then grabbed his weapon, trembling, and shouted in a show of bravado, "Who is it! Stop playing tricks and come out now! Otherwise, if we catch you, we'll chop you into mincemeat!"
The pirates stood back to back, fearful and wary as they prepared to face the unknown danger.
Hidden in the darkness behind Keslan, Jiang Yu felt a sense of security as she looked at the tall, cloaked figure before her. Although this man was wicked, dark, twisted, and unlikable, he hadn't harmed her and was doing his best to care for and protect her.
Of course, she understood that this came at a price; he not only received money from the emperor, but she also had to pay for his services. However, Keslan's strength did allow her to maintain a relatively stable mindset in unfamiliar surroundings.
"It seems you're obsessed with being chopped up!" A soft, questioning voice came from the darkness. The voice was deep, yet tender and elegant, like a string instrument being gently played.
"What, you don't like this way of dying?" Keslan moved, and another head rolled out of the darkness to the pirates' feet.
"Stay put. If you're really scared, just close your eyes." Jiang Yu heard Keslan's words float in his ears, and then the tall figure blocking his way slowly walked out.
The pirates first saw a pair of eyes shining in the darkness, which, were it not for the warm smile within them, looked like some kind of ferocious beast or bird of prey.
Then a figure shrouded in a pure black cloak appeared in the light. He was very tall, with broad shoulders, and exuded a powerful presence. He was pale, handsome, and had a fine earring peeking out from the middle of his jet-black curly hair. This man, like his voice, was extravagantly dressed. Coupled with the sincere smile on his face, he looked like a high-ranking nobleman.
But the gruesome heads on the ground reminded the pirates that the person before them was not a nobleman who had come to greet them with smiles and pleasantries, but Satan who had come to reap their lives.
"Why aren't you saying anything?" Keslan tilted his head slightly. "Hmm, I can hear your heartbeats, it's so noisy. Are you scared?"
The pirates gripped their weapons tightly, cold sweat trickling down their foreheads.
"Ah! I recognize you." Keslan suddenly locked onto one of the pirates, his warm eyes quickly turning dark, a chilling killing intent flashing in his clear yellow eyes. He smiled cruelly:
"Which filthy hand did you use to touch Lord Jiang Yu's face?" He raised his chin. "Too bad, I don't remember. Then give me both hands." As soon as he finished speaking, only a blur remained.
A scream rang out, and in less than half a breath, Keslan was back in the same spot.
His cloak finally opened, revealing a cold, golden dagger in one hand. Were it not for the blood dripping from it, its ornate design adorned with jewels would have made it appear as a ceremonial weapon from the palace.
His other hand was holding two arms that had just been severed. He pulled up the sleeves and said disgustedly, "It stinks. How could you touch her with such filthy hands? Ah, I remember now, it was my right hand. Um, sorry, consider the left hand as interest."
"Ah!" The pirate, his arms severed, screamed in agony, collapsing to his knees as blood gushed from the severed limbs. He quickly lost consciousness. With his arteries severed, he would soon bleed to death in excruciating pain.
Keslan tossed the two arms into the corner like they were dirt, his eyes locking onto the two remaining pirates who were already terrified.
"Gentlemen, I really don't have time to chop you into pieces, and I don't want to disgust our esteemed lord. Besides, I've always been merciful, preferring to kill quickly without causing too much pain. How about we take my advice and choose a way to die that's convenient for both of us?" Keslan patiently discussed with them.
Mercy my ass.
One of the pirates, unable to bear it any longer, charged forward with his sword drawn; extreme fear had driven him to a complete breakdown. Then Keslan rewarded his bravery.
"Aaaaah!" An even sharper scream rang out. The pirate, his face covered in blood, clutched his empty eye sockets and collapsed to the ground, writhing in agony.
Looking at the disgusting eyeballs strung on the short blade, Keslan said admiringly, "There aren't many people who look me straight in the eye as they charge at me. Very brave."
