Chapter 1020 - 1018: Major Discovery
"Alright, Dean!" Stim respectfully bowed to Dean Hoffman. Although the dean interrupted him, it was a reminder that he shouldn’t dawdle and should quickly say what needed to be said.
Igor looked at Stim with great anticipation. He had figured out a small part of it, but there was still a large portion that needed Stim to explain in detail.
"I don’t know what you all have experienced, but from the recent events, I can sense the extraordinary in you." Stim wanted to get straight to the point but couldn’t help but express a few sentiments. Perhaps this was the peculiarity of scholars, a common trait passed down through generations: a love for reflection.
"We’ve encountered experiences beyond our understanding. No explanation seems to make sense of them; it all seems like chaotic supernatural forces!" Tobin Sol said.
"Yes, just like Sol mentioned, many things beyond our understanding are happening."
"These things beyond our understanding can’t be explained by the current systems, right? And that’s what Lord Soron also mentioned."
"I actually have a few theories. I’ve always felt my guesses are correct, but I need to verify them anyway. Senior Stim, you are my hope," Igor said loudly.
Dean Hoffman chuckled upon hearing this. So, Igor wasn’t entirely clueless; he was aiming to confirm his theories. How interesting. This young man wasn’t easily swayed by others. Even when persuaded, deep down, he held onto his own ideas, wanting to comprehend things his way.
"Everyone, we’ve been discussing for so long, but we’ve overlooked one thing: all our arrangements stem from four books, and these four books happen to be Spirit Books!"
Hiss... Everyone took a deep breath. This was indeed something they had overlooked because they had been pondering hidden places and neglected this issue. Moreover, these Spirit Books had always been quiet, making them easy to overlook.
"Spirit Books are a continuation of Spirit Power!" Tobin Sol said, knowing that in the coming time, they would surely delve into the Spirit Books for further insights.
It seems that the encounters in the Wilderness weren’t as mundane as they seemed. Tobin had thought of many things, but he couldn’t speak now. He must wait for everything to settle before expressing his ideas, as he was cautious and wouldn’t draw conclusions lightly. If his method proved incorrect, he’d quietly discard it.
"Next, it’s time for you all to witness a momentous event. Though I don’t know what you’ve experienced, I can assure you that the magnitude of what happens next will leave you all astonished," Stim said, glancing around. The space was open enough for those four Spirit Books to be handled.
Stim made this statement because he was a scholar.
Scholars possess the skill of deduction. While they can’t claim full knowledge of the future, they should be able to handle some trends regarding it.
Stim had deduced what would soon occur.
Then he discovered many people were looking at each other in awe.
Stim couldn’t fully comprehend it yet, but the span of his deduction wasn’t prolonged, and shortly, he’d understand what these results meant.
Many things were gradually revealing themselves, yet the parties involved were unaware. Igor and his companions remained oblivious to what they had experienced; those bizarre experiences only added to their confusion. Now, someone could finally clarify their doubts for them...
Oddly enough, just a few glances at the Spirit Book Igor carried, coupled with brief exchanges, enabled Stim to deduce that the contents of these Spirit Books were related to Igor’s concerns. And Igor had unwavering trust in Stim... Such a situation would elicit significant question marks from anyone else, yet these two trusted each other implicitly.
"I believe that the entities you encountered in your strange experiences and those Lord Soron encountered in the Wilderness are the same or at least similar groups," Stim continued, "and as Lord Soron mentioned, these hidden contents disclosed that the Wilderness has always been overlooked, and this negligence seems orchestrated by someone."
"The hidden content he left behind seems to encourage people to continue exploring the Wilderness!" Igor said, stroking his chin, feeling somewhat lost about the current situation, unsure of what to focus on, entirely bewildered.
"Many things might not be as we think..." Dean Hoffman interjected, and this phrase seemed to have become his catchphrase.
"That’s indeed true!" the Sol Brothers also reflected.
"There’s an increasing number of mysteries. Why can’t Lord Soron just clarify things!" Igor anxiously said.
"Don’t worry, everyone. As I mentioned earlier, all four books written by Lord Soron have become Spirit Books. What does this indicate? This indicates the immense dedication Lord Soron poured into these books. For ordinary travelogues, who would invest so much effort? I used to think this was due to Lord Soron’s nature; now I realize this was intentional!" Stim reiterated his point, expressing considerable admiration for Lord Soron.
"But what you’ve shown is merely a warning or advice!" the Sol Brothers were puzzled.
"Have you forgotten what I mentioned earlier?" Stim said while opening the four Spirit Books.
"You mean..." the Sol Brothers watched Stim’s actions, recalling the characteristics of the Spirit Books. Spirit Books are continua of Spirit Power, and it’s unpredictable if the residual spirit power of Lord Soron might create a spirit entity state, disseminating some hidden messages...
"You’re absolutely right, these Spirit Books carry numerous pieces of information. They are the continuation of Lord Soron’s spirit power, with much information hidden within them."
"That’s another one of your deductions, right?" Igor asked.
"It’s a deduction, but also a discovery. What I’ve previously demonstrated is a key, a key to unlocking the information hidden within these Spirit Books." Stim spoke confidently, with absolute certainty, a far cry from his prior timid demeanor.
Dean Hoffman observed everything with satisfaction, watching these young individuals grow with a pleased expression.
