Chapter 142 Missing (8)
Chapter 142 Missing (8)
Sid stood in front of Tis's cell. The guards walked up and asked if they wanted to open the door for him. Sid nodded coldly.
The sound of the fully enclosed iron door opening startled Tess. She stood up immediately. When she saw Sid in dark military uniform, she felt a moment of joy in her heart. However, this joy was immediately suppressed. She thought of her current situation. She did not speak or make any movements. She just looked into Sid's eyes in silence.
After Sid came in, the imperial guards immediately closed the iron gate again.
He looked around and smiled, but Tis clearly saw the coldness in Sid's eyes.
"Still can't remember anything?"
When Tiss heard the first words Sid said after seeing her, her heart sank: "What did you remember? How did you kidnap Ning Hua? I've said many times that it's none of my business. I was framed."
Although he had expected that Sid would most likely not believe him, after hearing his frank confession, Tis couldn't help but feel sad. However, this sadness was just the beginning.
Sid continued, "Being kidnapped, forgetting what happened in the past two days, do you feel that this plot is somewhat familiar?"
Tis' lips trembled, and he opened his mouth but nothing came out.
Sid took out another folder and threw it on the only round table in the prison.
"Look, after seeing this, you might want to change your statement."
Tis took two steps forward, picked up the document, flipped it open and glanced at it, then read it carefully from beginning to end as if in disbelief. When she saw the official seal of the commander's imperial guards at the end of the document, she immediately showed an expression of shock that was beyond words.
She murmured, "This is impossible..."
Sid looked at Tis with indifference and sympathy: "The crime you don't remember is still a crime. This excuse won't help you win the case in the galaxy court."
Tess still looked as shocked as before, with two deep wrinkles between her brows, and the veins on the back of her hand bulged because she was holding the document too tightly.
Only then did Sid realize that Tis seemed to have lost a lot of weight compared to half a month ago.
The document that Sid brought to Tees was an aviation system investigation record, which contained clear surveillance photos proving that on the morning of Ning Hua's accident, Tees boarded a military aviation spacecraft from Austin to the imperial capital.
The boarding records of the military aircraft showed that "Tiss" wearing sunglasses in the picture used a fake identity called Lieutenant "Laidi". She concealed herself very well from beginning to end and never revealed her face. Even in the photos taken by security, at first glance, she only had a face that was slightly similar to Tiss.
When she went to the bathroom, the light near the bathroom was dim because a wall lamp was broken. "Laidi" probably thought that the dim light would not allow people to recognize her, so she took off her sunglasses at the door of the bathroom. The surveillance camera happened to capture this scene, and a face belonging to Tis was completely revealed.
Tis was so shocked that she was speechless when she saw the face on the document that was almost exactly like hers.
"What do you say now?" Seeing that Tess had read the document over and over again and was a little impatient, Sid finally asked her.
