Chapter 287 Candy Riddles and Fantasy Conflict

Lily and her friends returned to the palace with the five magic candies they got from the Dream City. The atmosphere in the palace became extremely tense, and everyone felt that this adventure was gradually approaching the core of the mystery.

"What are these candies used for?" Ah Pang looked at the five sparkling candies with a confused look on his face.

"Perhaps it is some kind of code." Silver Wing whispered, "But to unlock their secrets, more clues may be needed."

Lily held the candy, closed her eyes, and tried to sense the power contained in it. At this moment, the candy suddenly emitted a faint light, as if responding to her call.

"Look everyone, these candies are glowing!" Lin Ye pointed at the candies excitedly.

Lily opened her eyes and realized that these candies might be the key to connecting different worlds. "I think we need to put these candies in the right place, and they might open the door to the next step."

The group brought the candies to a mysterious room deep in the palace. The room was covered with strange runes and carvings, and in the middle was an ancient altar with five grooves that matched the shapes of the candies perfectly.

"It looks like this is where the candy is placed." Silver Wing analyzed.

Lily carefully placed the five candies into the grooves one by one. As the last candy was placed, the altar suddenly emitted a strong light, and a portal slowly opened in front of them.

"Where does this lead to?" Apang asked nervously.

"There's only one way to know." Lily stepped firmly into the portal, and the others followed closely behind.

They were transported to a whole new world, a dream world that seemed to be composed of countless colored glasses, each of which reflected different scenes, some of which were memories of the past, some were predictions of the future, and some were strange pictures they had never seen before.

"Where exactly is this place?" Lin Ye stared at the surrounding scene in amazement.

"Maybe this is a world of candy, an illusion created by the power of candy." Lily guessed.

Just then, a sweet voice came from behind them. "Welcome to the world of candy puzzles!"

Everyone turned around and found a girl in candy-colored clothes standing in front of them. There were a few candies dotted in her hair, and she looked like an elf from a candy world.

"Who are you?" Lily asked warily.

"I am the Candy Queen, and this is the world I rule." The Candy Queen smiled sweetly, "You came here because you solved the secret of candy, but to leave here, you still need to pass my test."

"Another test?" Ah Pang muttered unhappily, "We have been through too many tests."

"Every world has its own rules, and this one is no exception." The Candy Queen said with a smile, "You need to find five different candy riddles in this world. Every time you solve a riddle, you will get a puzzle piece to pass through. After collecting all five puzzle pieces, you can piece together the key to leave here."

"It seems we have no choice but to accept the challenge." Lily said helplessly.

Everyone began to look for clues to the riddles in the candy riddle world. Each riddle is hidden behind those colored glasses, and they need to solve them through observation, reasoning and wisdom.

The first riddle is hidden in a sweet candy forest. The branches of the candy trees are full of shiny fruits, and the riddle is hidden in a huge candy fruit.

"The riddle is: What gets smaller the more you eat?" Silver Wing read out the riddle.

"This is too simple, it's candy!" Apang replied proudly.

Sure enough, as Ah Pang answered, a puzzle piece shining with golden light fell out of the candy fruit.

"It seems really simple." Silver Wing said with a smile.

The next riddles are not as easy as you might think. The second riddle is hidden in a castle made of chocolate, full of maze-like corridors and traps.

"This time the riddle is: What has two words on it before it is cut, but only one word after it is cut?" Lin Ye read out.

“This is a bit difficult…” Ah Pang scratched his head.

Lily suddenly had an idea and thought of the answer: "It's 'wood'. When the word 'wood' is cut, it becomes 'ten'."

The answer was correct, and the second piece of the puzzle was successfully obtained.

The third riddle was hidden in a maze of candies, and it took them a long time to find the exit. The riddle was: "What gets more when you share it?"

This time it was Silver Wing who answered: "It's 'happy'."

As the answer is revealed, the third piece of the puzzle appears.

The fourth riddle is on an island surrounded by a candy lake, and they need to cross the lake in a boat to find the hidden riddle: "What is invisible in the dark, but is everywhere in the light?"

"It's 'Shadow'." Lily answered confidently.

The fourth piece of the puzzle is in hand.

The last riddle is the most difficult one, hidden in the palace of the Candy Queen. The riddle is: "What always follows each other but never meets?"

Everyone racked their brains, and finally at the last moment, Lily thought of the answer: "It's 'past' and 'future'!"

Once the answer came out, the last piece of the puzzle finally appeared in their hands.

"We succeeded!" Lin Ye shouted excitedly.

They put the five puzzle pieces together, and the puzzle pieces emitted a strong light, turning into a key shining with colorful light.

"You have passed all the tests. This key will take you out of this world." The Candy Queen said with a smile.

Lily took the key, thanked the Candy Queen, and used it to open the palace door. They returned to the real world, and the image of the Candy Queen gradually disappeared behind them.

"We are getting closer and closer to the truth." Lily said firmly, "No matter how many challenges there are ahead, we must keep moving forward."
