Wang Dashan led Guangming Factory to actively explore new models of sustainable agricultural development and drew a grand blueprint for the future of global agriculture.
At the sustainable development seminar held at Guangming Factory, Wang Dashan said seriously: "Comrades, we cannot only pursue the technological progress of agricultural machinery, but also pay attention to the sustainable development of agriculture. This is related to the survival and development of our future generations."
Agricultural expert Lao Wang said: "Director, we can further promote the use of environmentally friendly materials in the design and manufacture of agricultural machinery. For example, we can use biodegradable plastic parts to reduce pollution to the soil and the environment."
Environmental engineer Xiao Zhao also said: "Director, we can develop a new energy recovery system to recycle the excess energy generated by agricultural machinery during operation and improve energy efficiency."
Wang Dashan agreed: "These are all good directions. We must also strengthen cooperation with agricultural research institutions to study how to promote soil improvement and ecological balance through the application of agricultural machinery."
Guangming Factory has started cooperative research with an agricultural research institute.
During the research, they found that through specific agricultural machinery operations, soil structure can be improved and soil organic matter content can be increased.
Dr. Li from the research institute said to Wang Dashan: "Director Wang, our research shows that the use of your Guangming plant's new deep tillage machinery, combined with the application of organic fertilizers, can significantly improve the soil's fertility and water retention capacity."
Wang Dashan said happily: "Dr. Li, this is very good news. We will promote and apply these research results to more farmlands."
Internationally, Guangming Factory actively participates in global agricultural sustainable development initiatives and projects.
At a United Nations conference on sustainable agricultural development, Wang Dashan spoke on behalf of Guangming Factory.
“Dear delegates, Guangming Plant has been committed to the innovation and development of agricultural machinery, and also regards the sustainable development of agriculture as our important mission. We will contribute to the sustainable development of global agriculture by promoting environmentally friendly agricultural machinery, conducting agricultural technology training and supporting the construction of agricultural infrastructure.”
In an agricultural sustainable development project in Africa, Guangming Factory provided local farmers with environmentally friendly agricultural machinery and trained them on how to use these machines for ecological agricultural production.
Joseph, a local farmer, said to the Guangming factory staff: "You have brought us new hope. These environmentally friendly machines can not only increase our production, but also protect our land and water sources, so that our future generations can also have land to farm."
Looking ahead, Guangming Factory plans to increase investment in agricultural science and technology innovation and develop more advanced agricultural machinery and agricultural technologies.
Wang Dashan told the factory employees: "We must focus on the future and develop machinery and technologies that can adapt to emerging agricultural fields such as space agriculture and deep-sea agriculture. Although this is a huge challenge, I believe that as long as we unite as one and have the courage to innovate, we will be able to achieve it."
Guangming Factory also plans to establish a global agricultural machinery innovation alliance, inviting agricultural machinery companies, scientific research institutions and agricultural experts from around the world to participate and jointly promote the innovation of agricultural machinery and the sustainable development of agriculture.
At a meeting with international colleagues, Wang Dashan proposed this idea: "Fellow colleagues, agricultural development is a global challenge. We should work together to establish an innovation alliance. In this alliance, we can share technology, resources and experience to jointly overcome the difficulties in agricultural development."
