Chapter 108: Chapter 107: Fighting alone 3Treyton immediately opened his eyes when he felt that there were a lot of people surrounding him.
Even though they have a lot of people, all of them wouldn’t be crowded around him if they were sleeping.
The last thing he remembered is that they were still eating.
Treyton didn’t even remember that they went to bed, so there was definitely a problem.
When he opened his eyes, he saw that all of them were crowded in one corner of the laboratory lounge.
He felt crowded because all of them were all next to each other without too much space.
It was obvious that they were put together hurriedly.
He turned his eyes and saw that Derek was standing near where the kids were and checking Ashlee, who seemed to have woken up already.
Treyton immediately stood up to see his surroundings clearly.
When he saw his surroundings, he was stunned.
Just three meters away from them, he could see piles of dead mutant dogs, zombie dogs, and human zombies.
He could see zombie corpses where his sight could reach.
Then his sight was directed to the sofa near them, where he could see Luciel lying down with his body covered with black and red blood.
"What happened?" Treyton asked Derek while walking to where Luciel was.
"Boss, you are finally awake!" Derek said happily while also lifting up Ashlee.
"Yes, I’m awake; what happened?" Treyton asked again.
"Boss, I was monitoring outside, and then I noticed that there were a lot of zombies coming in our direction, so I hurriedly went in to report, but I saw all of you were unconscious except Sir Luciel and Dion.
I saw Sir Luciel holding Dion by his throat. It seemed that Dion mixed something with the food; that’s why all of you guys were unconscious," Derek reported.
It seemed that the problem was really in the food. Luciel and Derek, who weren’t present, were the only ones awake.
He didn’t wake up Luciel for dinner and just planned to leave some dinner for him because they don’t have any urgent things to do, so he didn’t plan to wake up Luciel and just let him wake up on his own.
"Where’s Dion? Did you ask him why he mixed something with our food?" Treyton asked.
Aside from the surviving re
Once he makes a big move using his lightning or metal powers that could deal with a lot of zombies, it would almost empty out his power reserves.
He needed time to collect more energy.
Even though he almost mastered what Luciel was doing and was able to absorb energy while doing something else, he still wasn’t that proficient in it.
Treyton could only absorb one kind of energy every time, so his progress was slower compared to others when it came to having more energy reserves.
Luciel also said that he must find a way to absorb both energies so that he could increase his energy reserves faster and also to increase his power, but he still hasn’t found a proper way to do it.
That’s why even though his powers were stronger compared to others, his energy reserve was still not enough to support his abilities.
So, if he really had to fight all the zombies and zombie dogs that Luciel fought, he would surely have a lot of injuries after fighting all of them.
If it were just human zombies, he could indeed deal with them more easily, but with the addition of zombie dogs and mutant dogs that were faster and stronger than normal zombies, he would still have trouble fighting them because he wouldn’t have enough time to gather energy around him while dealing with faster opponents.
