Henry looked at Ellie softly. He felt guilty that she was taking a big risk for the both of them. People outside of his family rarely sid anything good once they found out whom he was. She was carefully avoiding telling others while maintaining honestly. It was a strange place and in truth quite an awkward one. He was not happy that she was doing this for both of them. Having children was as far as he knew quite a sensitive topic for her gender. It was the easiest way for both of them to get what they wanted but it did not feel good to put another in a vulnerability. 

"Henry, I was not sure how to bring this up to you, but I have been meaning to for a while. There is something that Chou said that I had been considering. Remember this is from a purely legal standpoint." Ellie looked cautious as she stared at him. 

Henry was waiting for her to continue but her pause made him almost as neevous as she was. He tried to reassure her. "Of course. I'm always open to your suggestions. It doesn't matter if it is silly or serious. I'm not going to be bothered by much."

Henry put his hand on her arm and pulled her to him roughly. His eyes were cold. "Absolutely not. You're wrong for me, Ellie. It's just honeymoon flutters. They will pass and fade to bitterness." He tone had grown almost grim. He looked disappointed in her. Henry had trusted her to not do this sort of foolish female thing. He liked being around her and Ellie was one of the few female friends whom he was safe. It was odd. Why would she do something so reckless as to destroy the foundation they had built together? It would not end well. 

The awkward paused stretched into a full stop that was felt at both ends. His eyes pierced into her cold and angry as his grip tightened on her hand. Her face was serene as soft like she had just been admiring the flowers instead of telling him her true feelings. She was a beautiful girl —- crazy, loving, loud. Who wouldn't wonder what it would be like to be the center of her existence? It would be glorious for her eventual special someone.
