Nadius looked at Sheng Mei and their held for several moments. He could see the wrinkles in the corner of her eyes that were starting to form. He touched her softly as he thought back on their long courtship and eventual marriage.  It had not been easy. They had gone to the inaugural ball of Vladimir Putin himself in a bid to find his father as well as been stranded in tiger infested deserts in India on student exchange. Sheng Mei had often been frightened to think that her in-laws associated with the KGB would find her and her husband.  She had sat huddled with her young daughters in an immigration jail cell while listening to the guards argue about whether or not her and her children should be a liability to Russia.

Nadius looked at her smile with interest as he picked at his leftovers.  He set the fork down. "It is due that Henry should be married. It would be the good fortune if both of them did decide to make it work.  Henry does need a woman to calm down his busy life. He works too much, but not necessarily a lady who will interfere with the projects he has on hand.  The balance with Ellie I think with her instincts could be good."

"I am sure, seeing how much he takes after you," Sheng Mei rose and came closer to Nadius to put her face and arms around his neck.  He leaned into her to smell her perfume,"that Ellie Chen is definitely trying to get him to see the benefits." She kissed his neck and Nadius began to turn his head as his eyes became half lidded. "I can't stand that you all fight for what you want.  Henry isn't Russian in heritage, but he sure does have the intensity. It's exactly what's so attractive to see. I always want to break the concentration on whatever it is you're doing when you're working so much.  It will take Henry a couple more decades to get the experience to rival you for me, but you know he's interesting enough for Ellie to play with. I just hope she thaws through the gates guarding his past. He really needs help to learn to let go of those things.  That Mrs. Wong should be wary that it's not an easy task."
